hot dang hot vog - Edit
It’s a cute little place with limited seating. The staff was helpful and nice. They have a varied selection of ways to serve their hot “dogs”. It was very good. The location is perfectly located near a beautiful park, so it’s perfect to get your food and go for a picnic.

Such a gem! - Edit
I'm usually not a huge hot dog fan, but I loved Hot Vog! I tried the Best Seller and the waffle dessert, and they were both fantastic. As many others have noted, the woman who owns the restaurant is incredibly friendly and helpful. I also loved the signs and stickers in the restaurant about speciesism and animal rights. Convenient location for exploring Paris - don't miss this place!

Cheap and good food - Edit
Very nice place with a nice people. The owner suggested me one of the hot dogs, the best-seller, and I completed the menu with a can of ice tea organic and a cheesecake. Only 9,90 € for all, and the food was delicious. I ordered one hot dog more for take away and it only costed 4€. Definitely it's a place I'm going to visit again.

Un tout petit espace pour manger sur le pouce. Les hot-dog sont simples et très bon, bien qu'un peu léger en quantité. A manger dans le parc quand il fait beau ! La serveuse était très sympathique.

Tasty hot dogs and great desserts! - Edit
Hot Vog is doing tasty hot dogs and great desserts. I tried two of the four hot dogs they offer, the spicy ones, and I liked them both. The bread is good, the sausage is classical (wheaty?) and the other elements (sauces and vegetables) bring the good taste. They are not huge but sufficient for a quick lunch. I was also very happy to discover their selection of crisps (I tried the thai ones), they are very good and give a change to what we can find usually. Their desserts are very appealing too (one of the first things you see after entry). I tried the brioche (a little dry but good), the plum tart (tasty) and the waffle (amazing). I definitely love the last one, so good!
Read moreThe place is small so you cannot really eat there as a group, but the Luxembourg park is not far away. The staff was super friendly and prices were fair considering the neighborhood. I paid 29 euros for 2 hot dogs, 3 desserts, a drink and crisps.
Pros: very good hot dogs, amazing waffles, nice selection of chips, friendly staff
Cons: small

HOTVOG is amazing !!! I absolutely recommend it - Edit
QUEDAREIS ENCANTADOS !! 😊

Love the feel of NYC in Paris - Edit
Living in NYC that kind of places are all over the place! I am a 100% Vegan so look at that kind of places all the time. Traveling to France I thought that those places didn't exist and I find Hot Vog witch I loved it! Went there at least 3 times (stayed in Paris for 1 week) The Girls at the counter was very sweet and give me help with loads of places to go and visite as well as recommendations on other vegan places to go to. I think she was called Noor. The food is good the staff is soo nice a place a recommended 100%. Back in NYC now and haven't found a place as good as there yet.

Delicious food and friendly staff - Edit
My husband and I both got somewhat plain hot "vogs," with just ketchup and fried onions. They were really good and satisfying. They had some vegan pastries there as well which looked delicious but we didn't get to try any. I loved the shop too, very small with limited seating but cute decor! Very close to the Luxembourg Gardens, perfect for grabbing to go and enjoying near the fountain.

Bad service, outrageous prices - Edit
Have been there twice now and even tho the hot dogs themselves are okay, I am NOT okay with the service that we've gotten. First time I went there, ordered a hot dog and also saw croissants on the counter (looked more like badly rolled up store-bought pastry, but what the hell) thinking that they'd probably cost me like 1-2€ like in every other vegan place I've visited in Paris (there was no price tag for either the croissants or the cakes/cookies on the counter). BIG MISTAKE not asking the price because when I started to pay the croissant was ALMOST 5€! The girl hadn't even told me the price beforehand and I really felt cheated. Even cloud cakes sells their fresh and amazing croissants for 1.5€.
Read moreSecond time I went with my boyfriend because we were in the area and happened to walk past the place and again the girls behind the counter didn't really care about us being there, chatted in French and laughed to themselves. Then one of them asked us if we wanted to try their strawberry smoothie we foolishly said yes thinking that they would give us a free sample of it or something. NOPE! She quickly whipped out 2 small (and I mean SMALL) cups with our smoothies which cost us more than 7€ in the end. Again, no price list or anything to be seen, she didn't even let us know, if and how much we had to pay for them. Fantastic customer service, right? Won't be returning.
Cons: Bad customer service, No prices anywhere for the cakes/croissants/cookie
nojvegan
your review is interesting but i often see these kind of comments "chatted in French" Its France they are probably French, Ignoring you is not good but ignoring you in French isn't worse.
Read morethe service doesn't sound good and certainly by law they should display prices and asking you if you want to try something does sound like an offer of a taster, so pretty bad really i will take your advice and try cloud cakes, Happy travels.

No glutenfree options! - Edit
I went there with a friend and asked for a gluten free hot dog so I was given some GF bread and a soy sausage - which was fine to me, until I had a stomach ache all afternoon. Later, I asked the owner to show me the ingredients and actually their soy sausage contains gluten (wheat). She defended herself saying that she always says to her customers that her dishes MAY contain gluten (and she does) but I'm sorry, the sausages DO contain wheat/gluten so this place isn't safe for GF people. I don't see the point in having glutenfree bread if the sausages you put in it aren't GF. That's silly and that's being dishonest. I'm really upset because I was super glad and excited to find a vegan hot dog place but I'll never come back.

Great vegan dogs in a convenient location - Edit
We ordered the "Best Seller" and the "Jai Ho"(spicy) dogs and both were delicious. They were very freshly made and came with a generous amount of toppings that made for a very satisfying meal. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. It is located right next to the Luxembourg Gardens so you could order a dog and eat it whilst strolling through the park!

Tasty but simple - Edit
When we arrived we couldn't see the sign as it was on the window but not on the roof like you'd expect. When we walked in we were greeted by a nice girl who was helpful. The place is very tiny though and there's not much room to sit. We ate the spicy vogs which were tasty but not too filling for my taste. I know they are like American hot dogs but I would have loved some veggies on them (stereotype right?). The girl offered to take a photo of my grandfather, mom and I. It was a nice experience altogether.

Good quick meal - Edit
This is a great place to stop for a quick and tasty vegan meal or snack. The owner is super nice and enthusiastic. I enjoyed my hot vog on baguette with fried onions and chili sauce. The toppings were really tasty, as was the bread. The sausage itself seemed pretty standard, but I imagine it's pretty difficult to make an exceptional hot dog sausage, whether vegan or not.
Read moreI came back for a pastry a few days later around 10:30am. Unfortunately, the worker who opened didn't seem ready for me. I bought a croissant, but it was cold and hard. Only after I bought it did he tell me that he would normally heat it up, but the oven was not prepared yet. I wish he told me before so that I didn't spend 2 euro on a not-so-good croissant.
That said, I'd come back. The owner was so warm and hospitable, and they offer good food at good prices.
