Amazing vegan grilled cheese - Edit
This place has the best vegan grilled cheese I’ve ever had. They make the cashew cheese in house and it goes perfectly with the sourdough/herbs/tomato soup. We will be back.

Hot Cakes has a fully vegan lava cake with vegan ice cream option and it is delicious. They also have a vegan chocolate chip cookie, both of which area clearly marked.

On a cold day we appreciated the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Grilled cheese is not gooey, it’s more a house made cheese spread, toasted. Good flavors and a different approach to a grilled cheese. Tomato soup was more on the savory flavor VS sweet. Both the soup and sandwich come with chips. The server offered a side on pickles in place of the chips, which was a good suggestion.
Read moreWe purchased the cook your own molten cake. I baked one, and it didn’t puff up nor gooey as I had hoped. Flavor was rich chocolate and enough for two to split with ice cream.
