The best vegan bakery I’ve found - Edit
We’ve started going every week for pastries and sweet treats.
Read moreThe pistachio croissants, cinnamon swirls, macarons and miso/peanut butter cookies are highlights.
For me it’s impossible to tell that everything is plant based so the science behind whatever they’re doing is impressive. Especially the croissants and macarons.
Always friendly staff and great location.
Go in the morning because they sell out

Divine baked goods! - Edit
When I spotted the queue in front of Honeytrap Bakery, I knew this place was something special - and I was right! I wish I lived nearby so I could subsist solely on the tomato and ricotta parcels and cinnamon buns. A serious must-visit and a local gem.

Amazing - Edit
We did the online order for pick up ahead of time although there were plenty of choice still available when we arrived early afternoon. What we got:
Read moreRaspberry and chocolate semlor bun (incredible- so light, great punchy and more subtle flavours), passionate fruit dome (gorgeous flavour and texture combos), macoroni pie (moorish), basil ricotta parcel with sundried tomatoes (juicy and yet crispy pastry). All so flavourful and amazing! Showcase of how good vegan baked products can be! Amazing!

The best bakery in the world !! - Edit
I think about this place everyday and recommend it to all of my friends. It is a must try if you’re in Glasgow (even if you’re not vegan). Every single thing is perfectly thought out and the flavours are amazing. Only sad thing is it sells out most days so definitely get down before closing time!

Best patisserie - Edit
Easily the best patisserie I've ever been to, and probably ever will. They have a mixture of croissants, buns, tarts, cookies, cakes and savouries which change regularly, always a couple of gluten free options too. Everything I've ever had has been amazing. The tarts are usually my favourite. The flavours change regularly but there will usually be a couple of different components, all perfectly made and complementing each other beautifully, truly something special that you won't find elsewhere. They are a little bit more expensive than cakes elsewhere but with the amount of work, skill and creativity that clearly goes into each item they're an absolute bargain. Each week they post the menu on Instagram, and you can message them and ask them to put things aside for you if you're visiting late in the day. Well worth doing if you want a couple of bits as they will sell out.

Pain au chocolat is crazy good - Edit
We went there twice because it was one of the best bakeries (vegan and non vegan) we have ever been to. The cinnamon bun is really good but especially the Pain au chocolate and the Chocolate Almond croissant just totally blew our mind. We are already sad that it was our last visit there - at least for a time.

Is this the best bakery in Scotland? - Edit
Definitely yes! A lovely friendly wee bakery punching completely above its weight!
Read moreThis is where we go for an indulgent weekend treat, and oh my is it a treat! In my opinion, putting the fact it’s vegan to one side, this is definitely the best bakery in Glasgow right now making very clever very very delicious treats … just shows that you don’t have to miss out to live cruelty free!
Everything is wonderful. Especially if it contains custard or any kind of mousse. And the biscuit lovers in my household are obsessed with the oatmeal & raisin cookies!

Fantastic Vegan bakery - Edit
A little out of the way for some people, but well worth a bus or two to visit.
Read moreThe Honey Trap is a 100% plant based bakery that focuses on pastries, with a few savoury options.
Items are individually priced and range from c£3-4, which is reasonable given the size and freshness.
They have limited opening times and sometimes sellout before, so if you're visiting Glasgow for a short time plan your visit early.
Pros: All vegan, Great pastries , Sweet and savoury options
Cons: No seating , Limited opening times
