Read moreThe food was excellent and with alot of research for taste and texturing. The drink was amazing too (i recommand the homebrew ginger ale). Desert is in the same category.
The staff was friendly, speak english very well, take the time to explain the food for making a choice, explaination of savors effect research by the kitchen when the plates comes, with the time necessary for the non native english speaker (my case). Great service!
The price is totaly ok for the quality and service.
The music diffused in the restaurant was good! And not only because i love it (tastes and colors), good volume for not ruining the mood and not agressive for anybody with the selection of tracks (yes i love music to).
Thank you at the staff (cookers and waitress) for this amazing experience!
PS: Queer friendly and no problem with tatoo!

Have ordered from Hemp Cafe Tokyo several times using Uber Eats. It always hits the spot! My favourite dishes are the vegan ankimo style seaweed rolls, Korean bibimbap burrito, and the homemade salsa and organic tortilla chips. Also recommend the organic açai smoothie. Everything is so comforting and satisfying 🥰

Hemp is an interesting product. It's healthy to eat, it's useful as a raw material to make products from and it can be smoked to relax. At the Hemp Cafe one can smoke hemp (there's a separate smoking room) and eat various hemp based meals. Those meals are so popular, that a friend invited me to enjoy them.
Read moreThe Hemp Cafe is easy to find because your maps-app will drop you off right at the doorstep. There, a clear sign tells you to go to the 8th floor. The restaurant has a cozy feeling and the staff will welcome you in Japanese and English. Menu's are also in Japanese and English.
My friend ordered a burger and I went for something wild: the raw vegan sushi. I had lots of vegan sushi before, but raw vegan sushi is the next step. The Hemp cafe did an excellent job. By using avocado the sushi is easy to eat and has a good bite. The other ingredients have been seasoned just enough to make them more interesting than the base ingredient. The sushi comes with kale to make for a tasty and very healthy meal.

I don’t want to be harsh, but it feels like their food used to have more surprising elements. The interior of the cafe is lovely, tho. If you’re already in Ebisu and looking for a place to eat, it’s a nice option. But making a special trip just for this might not be worth the effort, tbh.

I love maitake mushrooms, and have cooked them many ways, but the “KFC” Style Mushroom Fried Burger at Hemp Cafe near Ebisu Station was exceptional. The mushrooms were crispy with great texture. I added avocado made the dish creamier without being heavy. It’s a fully vegan restaurant, just a short walk from the station. I will be back!

We got a complementary amuse-bouche which was a nacho with cream cheese and mushroom. It was delicious, that’s all I remember. Then we shared tacos, a taco salad, and kimbap. I especially liked the tacos and kimbap, the salad was good but not out of this world. Overall a great place for dinner!
