It was nice trying norwegian waffels but nothing special. Only jam and chocolate toppings, one flavour of ice cream. Wish they had more vegan stuff

Two vegan waffle options - Edit
With just two waffle options, Haralds vegan selection isn't huge. But it's one of the few, if not the only, places in Oslo where you can get a taste of veganized local cuisine. My rasberry waffle was tasty, though I wish they offered more topping options.

The waffles are good, but don't expect to get full. It's more just for a quick bite or something sweet. There were two different toppings (chocolate spread or Raspberry jam).

Vegan coconutwaffle with passionfruit icecream - Edit
I had the only vegan option, with the raspberry jam and vegan passionfruit icecream. A review below said that the fruity icecream was not recommended as a topping, but that seems very personal (i thought it was delicous and it was not mentioned to me)

A kind of dive ice cream place with a good vegan waffle choice. I had a vegan coconut waffle (only vegan choice) with chocolate and raspberry sauce (only vegan toppings choices). They also had two flavors of vegan ice cream but they were fruit flavored only (strawberry and passionfruit). They don’t recommend these ad waffles toppings.

Attracted by various articles we wanted to try these „vaflers“. The taste was good, the topping was rich but yet in my eyes a bit expensive at least for the vegan option.

From the heroic story of Harald selling vafels from his bedroom window, to the fever-dream-esque video on the website, and the eclectic interior/exterior of his new shop, Harald’s vafler is exactly what I had hoped it would be. And the vafels weren’t bad either! I wish there had been more vegan options, especially for the toppings. But definitely worth a visit!
