Mehrfach dort gewesen. Es schmeckt einfach nach nicht viel. Im besten Fall ist es wässrig, wie die Wantan Suppe. Definitiv der schlechteste vegane Viatnamese in Köln.

The menu has no allergens listed, so you have to ask the staff. It’d be nice if they added the information next to each dish (maybe better next to the ingredient).
Read moreBecause of this we had to ask the waitress and she seemed annoyed. Then the dishes came and from past experiences just in case I asked what one of the ingredients was, to make sure they didn’t add anything I am allergic to. She said “mushroom” with a non-verbal “duh!” at the end.
Maybe she was having a bad day but there was no tip for her unfriendliness, which made her seem even more annoyed than before.
Besides that, the food is great. I really recommend it.

Only thing is: I ordered the Mango Lassi, which was delicious. But be careful: you have to order it vegan because on the menu it is with „milk“.

Egal ob Vor- oder Hauptgericht - hier ist es immer lecker! Es gibt auch mehr, als nur Tofu als Proteinquelle - besonders empfehlenswert ist die vegane Ente! Das Essen ist immer sehr frisch und extrem schnell zubereitet, selbst wenn viel Betrieb ist.

Coconut milk in a (pea)nutshell - Edit
First of all I loved the atmosphere and decoration. I felt really good in the restaurant and it was a good enviroment for a talk even on a very busy evening.
Read moreSadly they use coconut milk from Thailand. If it’s important to you to have vegan coconut milk I must disappoint you (based on the PETA investigation). Furthermore most of the sauces and dishes are with coconut milk.
We chose the dumplings and papaya salad as side orders. Both really delicious. My main dish was the chicken’s happiness with tamarind sauce. Every other sauce is with coconut milk. Especially about the peanut sauce I am really unhappy, cause it’s my favourite but the sate sauce and home made peanut sauce are both with coconut milk. My date had the duck’s happiness. I like how they made the crunchy seitan.
I would tell you more about my drink, but it wasn’t what I ordered and I can’t tell you what it is. But it was a nice fruity drink. My date had a frozen strawberry-dayquiri, also a fruity delicious drink.
Happy Cow says they would offer cow milk, but I couldn’t find a single dish or drink with it. The Lassi on the menu is with “milk”, but the staff said the “milk” is almond milk, not cow milk.
We had not a lot of waiting time, service was friendly.

Vegane Ente + viel Auswahl - Edit
Wir waren hier schon öfters. Wer mal etwas anderes essen möchte kann hier Vegane Ente probieren, die war wirklich sehr lecker. Leider hatte ich mal ein Haar im Essen, es wurde sich nur knapp entschuldigt. Mein Essen durfte ich so, dann weiter essen. Hier hätte ich mir mehr Entgegenkommen gewünscht. Das kann mal passieren, sollte es aber nicht.

I double-checked with the menu and they told me and re-confirmed everything is vegan and I did not see the gummy bears someone else mentioned from before! so they probably changed that. With milk I’m not sure ‘cause I did not drink any coffee, but the Dessert was Also on point and I am happy there’s finally a place that serves something with red bean paste.
As drink I had a cocktail which was decent and strong and as food I ordered a starter tapas set with four different kind of starters everything was well flavoured and nicely presented
I can highly recommend the seitan sticks which are really crunchy and also the fresh summer rolls!
Do mention you don’t eat cilantro if you can’t have it ;)
Food came out quite fast. It was tasty and very different to other Vietnamese places.
It’s more expensive here. Lovely interior and def a new favourite

Ich war zunächst skeptisch, weil ich die Gerichte etwas teuer finde, aber ich wurde wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Gerichte waren super lecker und heben sich wirklich ab gegenüber anderen vietnamesischen Restaurants. Wir hatten viel Hunger und haben trotzdem nicht alles geschafft. Also.. packt euch Tupperdosen ein!

It's full vegan now except sweetened cow milk in coffee that can be substituted by almond milk. Prices are high for the area of town but normal for yuppies & richer tourists. Directly at subway stop; around 7 stops f/ central train station. Quality is good but adjusted to german taste, i.e., not much spices, it tastes "flat". Very friendly staff.
