Tasty ramen

Very nice soy sauce (shoyu) based vegan broth in an extremely convenient location for visiting Enoshima.

I didn’t check the menu, I’m not sure if it is written down, but just asked the staff directly for vegan ramen.

Seems like they would have a few other izakaya options that would be vegan, or could be easily made vegan, such as deep-fried whole garlic cloves, spicy stir-fried bean sprouts (pirikara moyashi itame), pickles, etc.

Pros: Delicious broth, Great location, Nice izakaya atmosphere if you want a few drinks

Flavourful broth

Went to Enoshima and Hanamizuki is right by the bridge into Enoshima. They opened at 11:30 and when we asked about vegan ramen the proprietess confidently confirmed it existed.

The ramen was not on the English menu, but it is in a little green bubble on the normal menu. She gave a little receipt so you can decide toppings. Uhhh there was fried soy, kombu, wakame, beansprouts, garlic, green onion (spring onion).

The broth was a thin one, soy based but very flavourful. A meal for two came to around 4000 yen, which is a little pricey, as another review says.

Okay Ramen near Enoshima

If you want to have Ramen near Enoshima this is probably the only vegan option. The portion sizes were very big and it tasted good but for 1500 ¥ the taste was just okay.
I really liked that you could add Wakame and Konbu, which gave a special and good flavour to the Ramen which fits the sea nearby. Compared to that the small piece of fried was a bit too small and didn't taste that good.

Pros: Konbu, Wakame, Broth

Cons: Fried soy, Portion size (too big), Price-performance ratio
