Overpriced and confusion

The place is fairly small and very popular but we were quickly seated and service was swift.

My wife and I both opted for the veg breakfast (£18 12.5% service charge) which was advertised as having a vegan option available but staff seemed confused about what that meant beyond removing the eggs. The dish also comes with halloumi which is an expensive item. They seemed to overlook the fact that it didn’t belong on a vegan dish. The chef was unable or unwilling to swap that for a vegan cheese offered with other dishes. In the end we were given generous substitutions of beans, mushrooms and hash browns and we were full and the food was high quality - albeit expensive - even for London
