Nice! - Edit
Great to find a vegan Taiyaki! I went here in the afternoon and got a warm and crispy red bean-filled one. Absolutely loved it and would come here again right away!

Delicious taiyaki but limited availability - Edit
The taiyaki is delicious with a thin, crispy shell covering the red bean paste for 210 yen. Note that in March 2024, the taiyaki is only available on Wednesdays. You must check the schedule on their Facebook page because they only serve certain items on certain days and are closed on various days.

Delicious taiyaki - Edit
The taiyaki, which is labeled as vegan on the menu, was delicious and not overly sweet.

No taiyaki on Mondays... - Edit
I went there and they told me that on Mondays they do not have taiyaki:/ I was very disappointed. The only other vegan thingvthey had was a kind of mochi which I ordered. It was good but mochi you can have at many other destinations...

Read moreThis shop next to Akasaka station sells vegan taiyaki. There is a sign in the shop saying ‘no egg and milk are used for the taiyaki’.
The outside is crispy and the inside is filled with soft sweet azuki red bean paste. Very delicious. 180 yen for one taiyaki.
Pros: Vegan taiyaki, Reasonable Prices

Great little sweet snack - Edit
Warm sweet bean type Japanese desert, very tasty. About 50m from Starbucks. Just a little shop counter, with a sweet potato counter similar size next door.

Great Taiyaki - Edit
It can be difficult to find vegan taiyaki and this is one of the few places where you can get it. Eat it while it’s hot and enjoy! So yummy!
Read moreMenu is not fully vegan as some items contain whipped cream but the regular taiyaki and the one with mochi are vegan. Regular taiyaki is 140 yen.
Pros: Cheap & tasty
