Deserves 5 stars - Edit
Such a lovely owner (very good English and even speaks a bit of French!), easy to understand English menu and simply delicious gyozas.
Read moreWe ordered take-out for 5 people (à huge order), and although it took a bit longer than announced, it was well worth the wait. Especially the mushroom - ginger combo (grilled) was incredibly good.
We even got a vegan map of Tokyo and vegetarian/vegan guide with our takeout order, so nice!
Less than 13k yen for take-out for 5 people = very decent price for the good quality.
Pros: Big menu with many vegan options, Nice owner, Description written on each box
Cons: Small place, you might not get a seat

Fun local experience - Edit
Unique vegan gyoza made in front of you (even get to learn how to make two) with lots of toppings to eat them with like the miso paste, 7 different types of salt, vinegar…

Nice experience - Edit
The venue is small, seating only six however, it creates a nice opportunity to meet other patrons if that is what you a looking for. A very friendly and helpful man makes the delicious gyoza right in front of you. A large Asahi and 10 gyoza was ¥2200.

would give 5 stars if i could - Edit
fun and delicious cultural food experience. bar owner is funny and engaging and teaches you how to make your own gyoza. he also has wonderful drink recommendations and prepares all of his own sauces and even some of his own mushrooms from scratch! he even gave me a bunch of vegan food Tokyo brochure without me even mentioning being vegan!

Fun evening of tasty food - Edit
The gyoza bar is intimate and everyone ends up chatting which is nice. Good food, plenty of vegan options and you get to close up some of your own gyoza which is fun! The vegan gyoza pizza was surprisingly yummy!

Fun Dumpling Experience - Edit
Awesome casual spot for homemade gyoza with a great host/chef. If you're looking for a unique bar experience with gyoza, then this is the place to be.
Read moreChef Keisuke makes you feel right at home but you'll have to help out a tiny bit as well. We ordered their vegan gyozas (mushroom and veg) and we 'helped' out by doing a bit of folding action as well. They were pan-fried to perfection.
Drinks are also available and you'll grab and replenish them from the coolers in the back.
Chef Keisuke also shared a list of vegan friendly restaurants in Asakusa which was super kind. Love that he helps plant-based travelers like myself find other spots to enjoy great food.
Bar seats around 7 people so reservations are a must. Shoot them a message on social media.

Good food, nice owner - Edit
When we were there last week there were three vegan options. Vegetable gyoza, mushroom gyoza en pizza on a gyoza skin (with vegan cheese). It's super small, only 7 chairs and you have to take your drinks out of a cool box yourself. The owner gave us a list of a lot of vegan restaurants in the neighbouthood and a flyer :)

Best gioza place! - Edit
Best restaurant in asakusa! The owner is super nice, knows english well and understands what is vegetarian/vegan means. He has vegan cheese and was willing to prepare a new dish for us. And he also showed us how to fold the gyoza! Everything was freshly made and delicious.

Vegan Gyoza - Edit
We had SO much fun at the Gyoza bar. The owner is so friendly. We had veggie and mushroom gyoza with added ginger and garlic, vegan gyoza pizza and chocolate / banana dessert gyoza. It was such a great experience. The sake was excellent too!
