Fantastic food, nice space, great service - Edit
Really enjoyed the food. I popped in after learning it was Jagmeet Singh’s favourite spot to have dosa, and was not disappointed. Good prices, too.

Wide selection of dosas - Edit
I really enjoyed my dosa and thought they had rather interesting options. The resto was *very* busy, so I suggest making a reservation so you don't have to wait too long.

little variety, few vegan options, high prices, pushy staff - Edit
With the menu being made almost entirely of either dosas or uthapam, pushy staff who did not allow this first timer to review the extensive yet limited (vegan option-wise), and prices that did not reflect portion allotment, I will not be returning to Guru Luckshmi.

Cons: see above.

Dosa with Kick! - Edit
South Indian food specializing in dosas. Pay attention to the SPICY ratings on the menu as your palate could be in for a shock! Lots of selections and very busy restaurant - recommend trying to get a reservation as you might be waiting more than one hour on busy days.

Great for vegans - Edit
Swanky but busy/crowded sit-down Indian restaurant with booths. Extensive menu with separate Jain section (no garlic or onions, etc.). Lots of vegan dishes including an untraditional but still authentic tofu dosa. Family friendly.
Read moreBest in the city imho, including Saravana Bhavan.
Order the dosa sample platter. You'll get a bunch of different dosas which are all delish. They also use some fresh veggies which is uncommon for this kind of cuisine.
Will be back soon.
