Best in class for Ethiopian

Very cool people cool vibe cool music, but the food is the star of the show. As others have said, just skip all the choices because they have a vegan platter that can probably feed three people and it's like a sampler of everything Vegan. I counted seven unique items plus The pancake that sits under the items. They bring it out and they serve it to you by dispensing each bowl onto the pancake. I'm just passing through Nairobi and this is the best meal I've had in the country from the last eight or nine days. You will feel right at home!

Finger licking good (literally)

Their vegan platter (very prominent in their menu) is just what you need for a group dinner. There will be a little bite for every taste. But if that was not enough, they have an entire portion of their menu which is vegan, clearly labelled and varied enough. Their Ethiopian coffee and baklava were such a highlight.

Pros: Menu clearly labelled, Location, location, location, Kind service

Are you sure the baklava was vegan though? They usually use butter!

Amazing food, amazing service

I would give this 5 stars but as its not fully vegan I can't. We got the vegan platter and it was delicious. Between the 2 of us we were defeated so would definitely recommend having it between 3/4 people. The coffee was also lovely too (although probaly had the whole pot). The staff were also really helpful in selecting dishes as well. Highly recommend for all in nairobi.

Be careful with this place

My friend found a chicken bone in the vegan platter when she had it delivered to her house in May. The restaurant wasn't apologetic about it which upset her even more, so she decided to post her experience in the Nairobi vegan group as you can see in the screenshots. I'm glad the restaurant uses the term "vegan" but there are so many other Ethiopian restaurant options in town(check out Habesha) that have good food, are cheaper, and have a better attitude.

The Vegan Platter for Two hits the spot

It's perfect for 2-3 people. It's best to eat in and not order in since that reduces the chance of contamination.

Pros: Filling., Tasty., Flavourful.

Cons: A bit on the pricey side - over 4,000 shs., Delivery not made with love compared to dine-in
