We love Grubby!! - Edit
Me & my wife tried Grubby recently after getting a special discount offer from Mildred’s and we love it! They have a great selection of 25 different dishes each week with a range of interesting and varied options. We had fun picking our meals and struggled to narrow it down!
Read moreWe went for the family box (5 meals x 4 portions each) as this gives the best value per meal. We have previously bought Gousto and enjoyed it but Grubby is definitely a more premium option and despite the higher price I feel is great value for what it is.
We have been really impressed with all of the meals - the vegetables have been good quality and very fresh, with high quality meat substitutes such as Fable and THIS. Every meal has been delicious, full of flavour and generous portion sizes! The meals are fun and easy to prepare, and we are left feeling excited to have more every time we eat one!
I would definitely recommend Grubby and we’re excited to get more!
The only real downside was that our first box turned up badly battered which meant spice pots had split and some of the vegetables were damaged but when I reported this I was automatically given £10 credit and our second box was fine.
Also the recipes take a lot longer to cook than they claim - for example one recipe said 30 minutes but then involved 30 minutes in the oven for a butternut squash that also needed prepping so 30 minutes was impossible! However this is a common issue with recipes so not a big deal.

I absolutely love Grubby meal kits. I’m definitely a new lifetime supporter for this company. I cook a lot and love cooking but I’m also very very busy and don’t have a lot of time to research, plan and then shop for interesting meals. Grubby has been amazing for resolving that for me. Every single meal has been wonderfully tasty, and genuinely some of the best plant based food I’ve ever cooked.

As a small female, only really cooking for myself, I find one box of 5 meals gives me enough food for the week (plus a couple of snacks) so I’m getting my entire weekly food intake for around £55 which is around half of what I was spending shopping in the supermarket. And there’s also no food waste with Grubby, which is a big bonus.
I’ll be getting a 5 meal box every week for the foreseeable future and I’m super excited to try more of the recipes over the next few months.
Pros: Incredible choice of meals, Inexpensive (imo), Really really delicious

Nice vegan meal kit service. It’s not as advanced as the Purple Carrot in the US yet, but it’s a great start. We’ve had two meals from Grubby so far and they were very good. Delivery was super easy. This is also a nice way to explore different ways of cooking and/or new recipes.
