Good options for vegans - Edit
Good options for vegans, good selection of juices and smoothies but the drink sizes are half the size of what other vegan restaurants are and they're more money but the portions are big and filling and very tasty
Read morePros: Very tasty big portions fresh juice
Cons: Over priced and the juices come in small glasses

Overpriced, under delivered - Edit
Was hoping for a nice vegan treat, instead served cold food and poor service. Ordered the falafel plate (240bt), it came out cold. When asked to reheat, got back dry, crumbly falafel “muffins.” The tahini and hummus were boring and tasteless, came with a few veggie sticks, and seemed like all the food was prepared the day before... maybe days before.
Read moreThe berry smoothie was nice (150bt), and 200bt mushroom toast ok. For the price, expected much more, or at least a beach view. Would not return.
Pros: Lots of options, Unique vegan food
Cons: Over priced , Nothing special , Bland taste

Pricey: just ok - Edit
Although the food is fine, it was like something one throws together at home. I liked the cheese plate but the cheeses all taste similar and not enough bread. They even had the nerve to charge us for more slice of bread. Weird. What ever the purple stuff it was tasty. The falafel was ok; but not that interesting. It’s all way too pricey for koh samui. If vegan try Pure vegan heaven. Better food with large portions and better price. Art club food way better too and they are great folks running it.

Amazing food but quite expensive - Edit
The food is delicious and there are lots of vegan options but it can be quite expensive. I love the nourish bowls but the price adds up once you start adding ingredients to your bowl!

Lots of options but pricey and okay tasting - Edit
As soon as my travel mates and I opened the menus we were so impressed by all the choices and we had such a difficult time choosing our dishes! Intrigued by the vegan cheese platter we ordered one to share and were a bit disappointed. There were supposedly three different cheeses on the plate but without any information from staff we couldn’t differentiate between them cheeses. It would have been good if they went through what was on the plate. There were also some nuts and four small pieces of flat bread.
Read moreFor mains I ordered the Ultimate Falafel Bowl which came with two dry falafels (so I wouldn’t really call it a bowl), lots of tabouleh, some cauliflower, hummus, tahini and olives. It was a bit of a let down, especially given the price. Perhaps their other dishes are better- i would still be tempted to give them another try given their huge menu!
Pros: Plenty of vegan options , Variety, Friendly staff and nice atmosphere
Cons: Pricey, Flavours are a bit bland

We had Jungle Bowls that is very tasty coconut curry served with rice. The place itself is very clean and stylish but the food was pricey(the most expensive plant based food we have had in Thailand - 260 bahts each). Definitely great experience:-)

I love the vibe at Greenlight. So peaceful and tranquil. Ive had a few of their dishes by now and every-time is superb quality and taste. They make eating healthy look and taste delicious. Ive had their greenlight wrap, raw pad thai and “make your own bowl”, the raw snickers bar is also to die for!

Excellent food on Koh Samui - Edit
We loved our meal at Greenlight! Ordered the jungle curry with tofu, falafel plate, and pumpkin dip with sourdough. Everything tasted fresh and fantastic. The food took a long time to come out, but the taste made up for it. It's a little too expensive to come regularly, but I'm really glad we swung by!

Please improve! - Edit
There are so many things to be improved...
Read moreFirstly the service. Paying more attention to the customers is important especially when your menu is not cheap. I always have to run after the staff to get something. They serve you once then they never come back to ask you if you want anything else.
Most of the vegan dishes are made with avocados and 99% of the time, they don't have avocado but you still pay the same price for your meal. Places like Yogarden always have avocado and their most expensive meal is about 175 thb.
Let's talk about their falafel.... They don't want to fry it, even just a bit to make them eat able. They bake them in the oven so you end up with something super dry in your plate. I have never been able to eat them. I am sorry but this is not falafel.
One day I ordered a hummus platter. I ordered it before, that was not the first time. It came with 2 triangles of pita bread (instead of 4 like always). No chickpeas on the top of the the humus (as it is always). When I asked why it was different, I have been told, mai mee... But the price was still the same.
I have been living in samui for a year and I have been to Green Light many times mostly because this is the closest place from my home where I can eat vegan food.
Everytime I chose something on the menu, the answer is : oh sorry Mai mee, sorry it's not available.... Always.... Like the last time I wanted a chocolate cake... So I ended up with a berry mousse cake...
The mousse Berry cake arrived frozen on my table. Seriously? For this price, I buy a fresh cake in a Paris bakery. I asked the waitress if it was normal that a mousse berry cake is served frozen. She answered yes, all our cakes are frozen, you must wait before you can eat it... Well... I didn't enjoy it at all since I the cake outside became warm while the inside was still frozen... A huge disappointment.
From now on, I am not going there very often, just sometimes when I see there is something new to try on a their Facebook page. But most of the time I am disappointed by the staff or the food.
If you wanna charge prices like in Europe, that's fine but provide an equal service and food quality.

Beware Vegans - Edit
Had a delicious vegan lunch here so went back for dinner. Ordered the Jungle curry with quinoa and got half way through only to discover a big piece of FISH!! We complained, were told we should have said we wanted veg...it’s actually listed as vegan on the menu with options to add Tofu or fish (we had neither) Then we were told the menu was new and that’s how it had happened?! No real apology forthcoming. They brought us a vegan version but it was quick and looked suspiciously smaller so we weren’t convinced they hadn’t just removed the fish. Feel sick tbh, no discount or real apology offered. Shame

Great variety of food - Edit
We came for lunch and were all well-impressed. Good variety of healthy and vegan options—stuff we haven’t seen elsewhere on Sumai—and really nice presentation. They were willing to modify vegetarian dishes to be vegan. Everything is made to order so be patient, and if you have a larger party expect food to come out in batches. Only disappointment was the gazpacho soup, which lacked zing. Fishermen’s Village is a relatively pricey area, lunch for 5 people was about $100us or 3000 bat. There was a little cubby with packaged snack items.

Pricey but delicious - Edit
We’ve been here a few times because it’s opposite to where we are staying. I have zero complaints about the food except that some dishes could be a little bigger considering the price. The green light falafel bowl has been my favourite so far. I love how they’ve made it very easy for the menu to be read clearly about which is vegan/raw/gf etc. Service is great and the cafe itself is beautiful but it is too expensive in my opinion. Some dishes are on par with prices back in Australia.
