Incredible vegan seafood laksa!

We loved trying the vegan 'seafood' laksa here! Easy to get too from Paya Lebar station too!

Honestly, we couldn't believe how realistic that vegan seafood was! The prices were good, and the service was so fast and friendly!

Reliable chain with interesting dishes and good for veg starters

Not the best in representing the healthy side of vegetarian food but offers good variety just like it’s other outlets. Suggest to go for the regular dishes!

Pros: Many options for everyone , Personal service

Cons: Picky over sambal chilli and shacha sauce

Vegan Desserts

Highly recommend the Paya Lebar branch of Greendot, as there is a new Greendot Cafe bar with a wide range of vegan pastries, including tarts, entremets, creme puffs, macarons, financiers, soft serve, etc! Extremely excited that there are now vegan versions of such fancy pastries at reasonable prices and made using quality ingredients. Do also check out the Greendot Patisserie concept located on the same floor. Greendot's vegan cakes taste really good and are beautifully presented.

As for savouries - apart from bentos, they have some local dishes like laksa noodles (their signature!) and chicken rice, as well as wholegrain wraps. They also have seasonal specials such as a collaboration with Veg-An featuring Japanese vegan food with ingredients from Kagoshima, Kyushu! Hope the menu can be more vegan-friendly as some items contain egg and dairy. Nonetheless some items can be customised to become vegan, I really appreciate the convenience of having Greendot outlets at different malls!

Vegan waffles and cakes!

Was a pleasant surprise that they had vegan waffles and cakes! Will definitely come back for that! Food is also food, especially loved their rendang lion main pao.

Coffee was okay but not properly made …

Delicious bento

Tried their National day special chilli crab, I've eaten the real chilli crab before I became a vegetarian, as I remembered chilli crab tastes sweet, spicy and salty, not sour. For Greendot's chilli crab, I would rather call it tom yam chilli crab or Thai Chilli Crab, it makes me think of Thailand and Thai food, it's good but too oily for me.

For the bento set, the rendang lion mane mushroom is great, sesame rice and other dishes are tasty as well.

Tasty Laksa Yong Tau Foo

Green dot was serving their monthly special - Yong Tau Foo and I had the spicy version: Laksa. The laksa broth was very tasty and creamy, and the Yong Tau Foo pieces were well done too. I had it with brown rice and a side dish of fried veg gyoza. Finished off the meal with their vegan dessert: sea salt caramel cheesecake 😋😘

A great place to have a quick meal with healthy options, and with their new range of desserts - it makes the meal complete ❤️
Green Dot is a good place for a quick meal with lots of choices. Recently they added vegan desserts and I had the sea salt caramel cheesecake. It was very good.

Great tasting bentos

Great tasting bentos if a little predictable after your third visit. Lots of seats but service can get rough.

underrated, SO GOOD. get the signature bento!!!

such an underrated place 😫 the food is soo good, you just got to order the right dishes! staff are friendly and food is served pretty quick! dishes marked clearly if they are vegan/contain egg/dairy.

***: my go-to favourites

the signature bento is my all-time favourite. they come w a side of clear soup. OPT FOR THE SESAME RICE YOU WONT REGRET. SO FRAGRANT! here are some sides i’ve ordered and enjoyed!

[greens]
1. potato nonya curry with fresh taupok
2. *** braised pumpkin with goji berries
3. stir fried broccoli w black fungus & mushroom slices
4. *** spicy sweet and sour eggplant with ladies fingers

[mains]
1. ***braised tea flower mushroom & taukwa w cinnamon and anise seeds
2. ***braised QQ tofu w shimeiji mushroom & black fungus

[premium mains]
1. stir fried gongbao fresh mixed mushroom

an honourable mention is the chilled tea with osmanthus jelly! i cant quite describe the flavour but its nice and sweet and reminds me of honey aloe vera!

if you’re a student, visit on weekdays between 2-5pm to enjoy a special offer😄sigh up for their membership for 50% off your first bento too!

overall the food is rather pricey but the quality of the dish makes up for it. delicious and healthy meals with reasonable-large portions! my non veg friends and family enjoy dining here! do try to come earlier to avoid the peak hour wait.

Pros: vegan options clearly labelled , reasonable portion, yummy

Cons: a lil pricey but worth it

Go for the lion mane and laksa!

As title suggested, these 2 items are highly recommended by many and they are really good!!! All the food are above average standard and the consistency is there hence you know what you are expecting every visit. This is important becos when i crave for something, I want it to be what i am expecting!

Not bad for a mall

I go to this Green Dot quite a bit. It's fast has ample seating and isn't super expensive. Between the Bento choices and the soups, there is enough that you won't get tired of it for a while and whoever you go with will surely be able to find something.

Edit: After living in SG for a bit longer now, I still go to this place and it's still good, but Singapore has better to offer. If you want some fast and reasonably good though, this is a good place to get that.

Nice easy place to eat

This is a nice easy spot to stop for lunch. Their bento boxes are great as are their noodles. Drinks are a bit too sweet but otherwise, great place to visit for lunch.

Tasty food & quick service

Vegetarian restaurant with vegan options serving Asian dishes plus burgers.
Their bento sets are a great deal and tasty .
I loved the vegan laksa soup ( the other soups contain cows milk) . Burgers aren’t too good though so I’d suggest to stick to their Asian dishes .
Menu is quite confusing - as you make your way to the cashier on the way you notice photos of other dishes available which aren’t in the menu you get . It would be worth updating it and just put them all in the main menu.

Pros: Vegan options, Quick service

Cons: Confusing menu

Best Laksa

As usual, I prefer the Laksa more than any other dishes. The Bento sets are also quite tasty, but that depends on what you select. Their food is quite pricey at the same time if you do not mind to splurge. I heard Green Dot is going vegan this year.

Pros: Best Laksa

I love eating laksa there. However, I find their bento options to be mediocre.

Tasty!

Does anyone else realise most vegetarian laksa is not even vegan? Thank goodness Green Dot still stick to the original coconut milk recipe!

This place can get really crowded during lunch and dinner time.

Exellence!

Like this place. Food is fresh and friendly to the palate. The cooked meals come with some sort of salad (noodle with raw sledded carrots, cucumbers ...), so it is kind of a more balanced. It is right at Exit B of paya lebar train station, in the shopping mall. Really convenience. But place seems very popular, kind of full house during weekend lunch. So may be it is best to make a reservation. "Outdoor" seats seems very popular, but friend said, could be a bit warm in the day time. Price is generally more expensive than the hawker fair, but way cheaper than in North America.

Pros: Food, Service
