Addictive MLXG

Me and my boyfriend are addicted to the MLXG here. We will order the small spicy. It is so good that my spice intolerant boyfriend will only eat this MLXG, as the others didn't taste good enough in this opinion to be worth the spicy.

Great Food

If you have special crave for mala, this place is a heaven for you! Try different level of spice challenge to test where is your limit!

Other than the spicy items, there are plenty of yummy non-spicy dishes as well. The cereal mushroom or tofu is a must to order as it tastes just so yummy!

NOT all food items are vegan as some contain milk and butter. Kindly check with staff if the dish can be veganised.

Nice Mala Hot Pot

Came here for the 1st time and tried their Mala Hot Pot, I was quite impressed with the Spiciness despite I cheated by drinking Thai Milk Tea.

Awesome discovery

This has got to be one of my favourite places in Singapore!! We found this very cozy place near Bukit Panjang MRT station and Phoenix LRT station. The food was delicious and portions were good, the service excellent, the price very reasonable.. We had the chance to talk with the owner/cook. She is a fabulous lady. I really recommend this place.

Pros: Good food., Cozy place, Reasonable prices

Cons: If you are distracted, you might miss the place.

Good ambience, delicious food

Strongly the 双味鱼 (sweet and spicy fish) and their 麻辣香锅 (mala hotpot) which is the one and only vegetarian mala hotpot in Singapore. Price is moderate but definitely worth the price.

Pros: Mala Hotpot, Ambience

Cons: Inaccessible (need climb up a slope)

Addictive Mala Hotpot

Green on Earth started operating in Phoenix Estate in Bukit Panjang since September 2016. They were previously at Beauty World.

What I tried:

The Mala Xiang Guo is a Homemade blend of spices, no onions or garlic at all. Choice of spice level available. My advice is to start at the smaller amount of spice.
麻辣香鍋 中小辣 Mala Xiang Guo, Lower Medium Spice level. It isn't spicy for me, just a hint of numbness but for those who can't eat spicy food at all it'll still sting your tongue a little. This big portion for $28 , enough for 3 pax

Claypot Mushroom Rice. I guess they've changed the recipe by removing the monkeyhead mushrooms and added a lot of ginger. It goods but the amount of ginger is just

Shaanxi Spicy and Sour noodles. Something new to their selections. It's spicy but addictively good. A little sour, something you'd expect from Northern Chinese cuisine. Quite a big bowl

Nice Mala Xiang Guo

Seldom see vegetarian mala xiang guo, this is one of them and it is quite nice and fragrant. But ordered their normal dish, but that spectacular and bit pricey for the ingredients..

Not worth a "special" visit

The location is at the far west of singapore. Not a very convenient place as it's not near the Mrt. However it's near Phoenix LRT and bus stops. For the west goers, do try out their laksa. Its not bad. As for other dishes that we have tried, they rate below average. Chicken rice is not tasty. The bento set also taste below average. Only the laksa is ok in my opinion, but my mum still fail it. One of the service staff is not good. Poor service. The rest are ok.

Pros: The set up is cozy

Cons: Location is not very ideal
