We literally ate the tempeh salad sandwich every day for lunch. Delicious. Super fresh.

Great option in Downtown Oneonta - Edit
Each time I visit the café there are a few more vegan options, and they’re delicious! The tempeh Reuben is simple and satisfying. The “cheesy” squash soup is yummy. The smoothies are good, though pricey.

My Home away from Home - Edit
I drive 20 minutes to get to the GE for my organic & locally grown groceries. And much more than this, the place is a warm, friendly locale where I always run into old friends. It is the modern version of folks sitting around the pot-bellied stove in the old-timey general store. There is a food/juice bar that serves delicious sandwiches and there are tables inside and outside to eat. Many business people have business lunches there. In the back is a community room that offers yoga, meditation, tai chi, and much more. I am a member of the local Toastmasters club that meets there. And I feel owners and staff really care about their customers. For healthy food and socializing, I heartily recommend the Green Earth. Im not sure why HappyCow says this is not a vegetarian restaurant - it is vegetarian, vegan, and also serves non-veg.

Amazing vegan and vegetarian food! - Edit
This is more than a health store. Green Earth Cafe offers the best vegan food in and around Oneonta. Most of the cafe food is vegetarian, and most items can be made vegan at no extra cost. They always have a soup and a rice and beans, or their staff will prepare a lovely breakfast, lunch, or dinner for you. Everything is fresh and made with care! They always have a couple of specials too. They also are very informed about what's vegan and what's not, so don't worry or hesitate to ask!!
