Favourite Japanese snack - Edit
They have chains in most stations in Japan.
Read moreThere are only 2 choices: the white and red bean one.
The red bean one has to be my favourite.
Cheap and filling. A must try if you’re in Japan.

Cute and super cheap - Edit
Tried both flavours, white more to my taste but more of a novelty to try them-didn’t find them super yummy but for this price it’s worth a go. Very filling.

Yummy vegan sweet treat - Edit
It appears they sell two items only, a white bean and a red bed version. The filling is the same as the red bean steam buns in like a pancake batter. A good option to have when you're craving something sweet and as a tourist something new to try

Acquired taste - Edit
White bean was much better than red bean but not super delicious overall. Price was super cheap, but I got more nutrition out of the fresh juice and vegan soup inside the station. I don’t think it was worth exiting the turnstiles for these

😍😍😍 - Edit
Couldn't believe how lucky we were to be near this stall to get these! Absolutely delicious, got one of each (red bean and white bean) each. Very fresh, you can see them being made. They taste just like drop scone pancakes. We preferred the white bean but both were very nice.

Tasty, Cheap, Convenient, Allergy-Friendly - Edit
There’s a paper on the counter that lists the allergens the food contains in both English and Japanese, and the only allergen it contains is wheat. Very helpful for people with allergies. The food was pre-made but piping hot, and it was only 110 yen each. Just make sure you know that the stand is located OUTSIDE the ticket gates.

Really nice filled pancakes - Edit
They’re sold warm and that makes them so delicious. 95 yen for 1, 190 yen for two. I chose one of each and both were great before hopping on the train to Tokyo. The filling is really a lot and it’s less pancake.
