Limited vegan choice at lunchtime

Called in for lunch today and was disappointed to find so few vegan choices. Unless you want to have just chips or a side salad, the only option is what the menu enigmatically describes as a Glen Trio - which is hummus, olives & focaccia. And the focaccia was nothing like it should be. It was really just some crusty bread which was nice enough but sadly not the real deal.

I've attached the lunch menu so you can see what's on offer. Not sure if they have more vegan options in the evening.

Cosy and friendly local pub

Beautiful views over the water, cosy log fires and welcoming staff.
Lots of vegan options, several starters, 2 burgers, fishless finger, chilli, pie and vegan fudge cake with ice cream on the menu.
Amazing options for a Scottish pub, never mind one off the beaten track.
Walk along the road to the beautiful bay and island, or out to Smirisary White Sands beach.
Advised to book ahead.

Pros: Lots of options, Warm and cosy, Friendly staff

Cons: Nothing whatsoever.

Delicious food and accommodating owners/staff

One of the most accommodating non-veg restaurants I've been to: 3 of the 4 main course options were explicitly available as vegan. The chef even came out to check with us exactly we wanted. Breakfast was equally good: all cooked options tailored to our needs. Lively little inn - definitely on to return to!

Great spot for lunch/dinner

Great that somewhere so remote caters for vegans so well. Multiple options. Friendly staff and a great view!

Pros: Vegan starter and multiple vegan mains, Vegan soup of the day, Good beer selection and vegan wines
