This place is a real lifeline: you can find breakfast, sushi, pizza, Asian and Mediterranean dishes, soups and salads (they have a vegan menu). Nice staff and plentiful portions

Gems is definitely a jewel of a place to eat! - Edit
Three of us came for breakfast, my daughter and her hubby returning for a second time, and had blueberry, cream and maple syrup waffles; forest fruits compote and cream waffles; and a homemade granola bowl…SO good…all super yummy and all vegan. The fresh juices we had were also really good.

This cafe/restaurant is fantastic…from its relaxing, positive atmosphere and comfy clean interior to its excellent, delicious food it is a fantastic place to eat, drink and enjoy well cooked, well thought out food and drinks. These are all served by brilliant charming staff with great customer service skills who seem genuinely happy to make sure everything is enjoyable for you. Sarah the plant based owner is lovely and so welcoming, her passion for great food and ensuring happy customers make it a pleasure to be here.
I am definitely looking forward to coming back for more! 😊

We really enjoyed Gems, we had a meal in and were able to use the Malta discount card for 25% percent off but we weren't able to use it when we ordered for take away. We had vegan pizza both times and we were able to all order the topping we wanted (including vegan sausage). There were lots of other vegan options too including a cooked breakfast .

Great, fast service. Huge portions and such a good selection of food. We used it every night of our stay. My partner is not veggie so she could choose fish but she only did so on one occaision so good were the veggie options.

They have a lot of vegan food but I am not sure that everything is vegan. Because they have in vegan menu scrambled eggs and another things. Staff was average. And I think that I had a little non vegan cheese in my pasta.

Absolutely everything in our vegan menu is indeed vegan our vegan scrambled eggs are made with chickpeas and tofu and the cheese that your referring to is also vegan Parmesan cheese! Full vegan menu including several salads, lasagne with soya cream & numerous pasta dishes. Full vegan coffee menu. We stumbled upon this & ended up going a few times on our stay, it was honestly so good. Exemplary service & attentive staff, delicious cocktails- couldn’t recommend veggies/plant based people to come here more!! Would love to come back {again} 🤣 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely restaurant that does great simple vegan/veggie food - Edit
Lovely atmosphere and very helpful/friendly staff. Has a began menu listed outside - some pasta dishes may not be vegan so would recommend checking. Tofu/avocado salad was simple and tasty, but portion size. Tofu noodles was also very good with a big portion size too. Vegan sushi options and clearly listed as vegan too. Has smoothies and juices too. Highly recommended!
