Nice vibe, good vegan options - Edit
Gather has several clearly-labeled vegan options on the menu including a couple salads, a veggie burger, grain bowl, and spicy tomato pizza. I got the pizza and thought it was delicious, especially the cashew cheese. They also had vegan chocolate sorbet but it wasn’t actually listed on the menu.

I’m always put off by places that write on the menu about how important it is to them to ethically source food and yet they serve meat.

A little something for everybody - Edit
This is a great place to try if you have non-vegans in your company. The restaurant has a casual but elegant vibe that makes it a great place for celebrations or just casual hangouts. It’s also dog-friendly! 😊
Read moreThere are a few vegan options, including some items that can be altered to be made vegan and/or gluten-free. My favorite things to order are the brussel sprouts and spicy tomato pizza.

The best salads ever. Vegan bowl was fabulous, too. Vegan pizza was yummy. They know their way around vegetables. Walking home from dinner tonight I thought, "I am going there tomorrow for lunch." Fresh, fresh, fresh, healthy food. Excellent.

We love gather. Their brunch and dinner menu have a ton of vegan options and can be customized vegan as well. Fresh produce, mostly organic and great flavor profiles to the food. Conveniently located in downtown Berkeley and very friendly staff.
