Flavor was OFF - Edit
Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich. On the way to the bathroom I noticed the food preparer was not wearing gloves and blatantly touching food, which the front staff denied! Aside from that, the just egg was OFF, the bacon was wet and floppy, also a weird flavor. I managed to eat the croissant, and my friends reported their pastries were good

Can't say enough good things about this spot. Hole in the wall with deli-style to-go foods and groceries with option to dine in with lunchy nosh. Meatball sub was to effing die for 🤤 Grilled Cheese with marinara dipping was a comforting bite after a long morning. Thank you to the staff for being rad!

Cute new vegan spot in the neighborhood - Edit
Was very excited to see a new fully vegan cafe open in my neighborhood! Garden Carver is really good, I've been several times now since their soft opening and everything has been yummy, the stand outs for me so far has been the bacon, egg and cheese pastry and their meatballs, also love the selection of Rebel cheeses and I brought a slice of the cheesecake to non-vegan friends who said it was the best cheesecake of any kind they ever had, also the chocolate cookies so good! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, I've only done take out so far but will be going for a sit down meal at some point.
Read moreUpdate 4/28/24- I've been back many times! Mostly for bakery and deli items, recently I tried their house made carrot lox and was blown away how tasty and authentic it was, also yummy house made cream cheese and today tried the Mac & Cheese which uses fat/wide pasta tubes and has a delicious creamy cashew cheese sauce topped lightly with bread cheese. So good! Still need to dine in!

Great Lunch Spot - Edit
Nostalgic for deli sandwiches? This is the place. Had a delicious meatball sub. Wife had the Italian deli meat sub. Really great seeded Italian bread rolls. Both sandwiches are as good as the nonvegan inspirations. Also had the chocolate chip cookie and a French toast muffin for dessert. Delish.

Amazing Plant Based Butcher in Brooklyn - Edit
This amazing little restaurant/plant based butcher shop is so unique! The decor is really nice and the food is delicious! They have a wide variety of sandwiches for breakfast, lunch or dinner, pastries, and salami, cheese, lox and more! The owner is super nice and you can feel his passion for vegan food. We highly recommend you check this place out!

Lovely assortment of vegan sweet items, like cinnamon rolls and french toast stick cupcakes. Several savory sandwiches are offered. The Meatball hero is phenomenal.

Great food, great vibes - Edit
Stopped by for a quick bite when I found out that this was here. Fun was had! Note that while they specialize in vegan mock-meats, they do not make the mock-meats in-house; they mostly use Impossible and Daring. [Also Terms of Endearment (right down the street) was evicted - so we can’t go there anymore :(]

Great sandwiches, friendly vibe - Edit
First of all, this place is adorable— the front of the building looks like a cottage covered in flowers, and the inside space is warm and appealing. The person working there was super nice and went out of their way to wrap up my sandwich really well at my request (because I was taking it to the airport). I got the “chicken” parm and it was delicious. The cheesy tomato sauce was especially yummy — and the amount was generous.

Nice cheese and charcuterie selection - Edit
I wasn’t hungry so didn’t get anything in store but I brought home a lot of cheese and “meat” and everything was excellent. If you want to sample you can get a charcuterie board in the store!

Pretty awesome but not for poor people - Edit
Nice little cafe with ambience, tons of options and some unique beverages. The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious, but for what it entails, nobody is trying to pay that much.

Solid food/nice space/kind staff/highly Recommended! - Edit
We stopped in this newer 100% vegan place for a quick snack and were highly impressed. It has a cozy café feel with nice offerings from wine and a charcuterie board to house made meatball subs and lattes. We tried several dishes and all were excellent and the prices were shockingly low for NYC! The best part was meeting the kind staff and owner. Their warmth really elevated the experience. I know the vegan food business can be challenging - please consider supporting this place next time in Brooklyn!

Cute atmosphere, nice staff and delicious food. There really isn’t anything more you need. It’s a casual, order at the counter type of restaurant but the options are plentiful. I had the meatball sandwich as recommendation and was very pleased.

Paris in Williamsburg : A Paradise for Vegans - Edit
Jazz music and sweet flowers drew me in to this adorable vegan cafe-restaurant. The staff is lovely and I ordered the “lox and cream cheese” on a croissant and it was perfection! The next time I returned and wanted something sweet-the almond croissant was on point ! There’s a great wine list and, on the dark and rainy day, I closed my eyes and was transported to Paris in the best of ways. Y’all vegans, come in and support this dear sweet place!
