A 100% plant-based all-day brunch restaurant since 2020 specializing in eggs Benedict, açaí bowls, burgers, assorted pastries, specialty coffee, juices, smoothies, more. Everything is made from scratch in the Frutas Prohibidas workshop including vegan meats, eggs, cheeses, breads, and more. No reservations but has a booking system at busy times where a table can be requested and a wait time is given. Open Wed-Sun 10:00-18:00.

Stunningly Great Brunch/Breakfast - Edit
For Vegans, Breakfast and lunch get left behind or stripped down to basics; We get avocado toast or the occasional tofu scramble. Frutas Prohibidas has decided to provide something more and provide it at an extremely high level.
Read moreThe Eggs Benedict (no matter the style you choose) is a marvel of vegan ingenuity. I was stunned by the texture of the outside. I was stunned again when I cut through it to find the gooey yoke. I've never had anything like it in my life. Paired with the hollandaise sauce, truffle pearls, and parmesan cheese, It becomes the perfectly concocted dish.
We also ordered two drinks: the Red velvet latte (Beet and chocolate) and the blue latte (Spirulina). The red velvet latte has a delicate taste, but the Spirulina was wonderfully sweet and full of flavor.
The sleek, modern decor is comforting and cool. Get there early because the place fills up quickly, watching as multiple groups were turned away within the first half an hour of opening. You will not be disappointed.

Completely out of the ordinary, well above most good brunch places. The vegan egg is spectacular! Lovely pancakes as well. Arguably one of the best vegan brunch places in the world. Do not miss this when you’re in Madrid!

The combination of ingredients and sauces where creative and different than we have had before. I had the Benedict Del Infierno and it was delicious, but cold. I think it sat for awhile before it was served. They deliver dishes as they come up, so don’t wait for your table mates to get their order before you dig in.

Read moreNous avions commandé 2 cocktails et 2 plats. Un 1er cocktail est arrivé en même temps que le plat et le deuxième 10 min après le service du plat.
Nous apprécions pouvoir siroter le cocktail avant le plat, et de ne pas avoir l’impression de tout faire en même temps. Assiettes à peine finies qu’on vous les retirer pour déjà vous proposer le dessert..
C’est dommage car vraiment niveau qualité de repas et cocktail c’était génial.

Oh my God they eggs benedict are to die for, I have gone out of eggs since I'm vegan and they managed to make vegan eggs which drips the yolk when cut in half that taste like eggs but without that disgusting eggs flavour.

I think the secret to this place is that all their ingredients are tasty and so are all the parts of a single dish. The eggs, the bread, the sauce, the side salad and then the creamy part of the cheesecake, the base, and the sauce.

Fresh, delicious, 100% plant-based works of art! We had Alice’s pancakes - so lite and airy - and the tropical açaí bowl, which was served in a cacao pod. It felt naughty to disrupt these artworks - but we devoured them! Don’t hesitate - go to Forbidden Fruits asap.

El resto de la comida está bastante bien y la tarta muy rica también.

Walk a ways up...up. Winding streets and found this wonderful cozy restaurant with a beautiful waitress named Tammy, in English she helped us order eggs Benedict and Baconator sandwich. They were beyond good. 5 stars.
