The food was alright but I don’t think it lived up to the hype of all these other reviews which was a bit disappointing.
Read moreMy boyfriend ordered what was called a ‘burger’ on the menu and the description said ‘vegan chorizo and potato fries’. We assumed that meant it was a burger with vegan chorizo in it with fries on the side. But when it arrived it was literally a bowl with fries and pieces of vegan chorizo. Technically got what was described but it was a little confusing that it said it was a burger! Luckily we could laugh about it 😂
I got the pesto ravioli which was alright, the sauce tasted like it was made in house which was cool but it didn’t have too much flavour.
The Pisco sours were delicious though and nice to try one at a vegan place.
Pros: Homemade hearty food , The building is cool, Friendly staff
Cons: Not super flavourful , A tad overpriced

The place is in an old casona really beautiful. The food is just delicious, very tasty and the best ceviche of mushrooms that I have eat. Must try the kombucha of strawberry.

El lugar es precioso, muy tranquilo, muy limpio. Hay menú en inglés también. Parece que su clientela es más extranjera que local. Comimos un plato de salchipapa, porque en realidad no traíamos mucha hambre. Era de lo más barato del menú y costó 30 soles. Tardaron como media hora o más en servirnos. #Veganuary

I had lunch here during my stay in Barranco, Lima, as I wanted to try the Peruvian cuisine. I had the “seco de soya a la norteña” and enjoyed it. I would definitely come back to try more Peruvian dishes😄

An "oh wow that's vegan" kind of place - Edit
The pescado a lo macho is that kind of "oh wow, thats vegan!" dish. You will never guess what the main ingredient is (and I won't spoil the surprise for you).

So excited to find this fully vegan restaurant. Lots of different options included traditional Peruvian dishes (vegan versions) and international options like burgers and pasta.
Read moreWe had the soy sauce fried banana quinoa dish (a bit too salty to be honest), the ravioli with bechamel mushroom and asparagus sauce (so tasty!) and the mushroom cerviche (very fun). Also got a strawberry lemonade which was fun.
Really tasty food and totally recommend this place.
(Based on other reviews we thought the service would be slow - but all was fine! No issues at all.)

Very pleasant simple canteen style restaurant in Barranco. Whole menu is vegan and can try classics such as ceviche, but veganised. Burgers, wraps add international flavour. Had a good pico sour with aquafaba replacing egg white.

Read moreI recently dined at Florencia, and while the food was satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by subpar service.
**Food:**
The menu offers a diverse range of vegan options, and the dishes I tried were flavorful and well-prepared. The Chicarron de Setas had a comforting, rich taste and was fried to perfection the rest of the food were, Huancaina con Saltado de Tofu and Tofu Saltado was not that impressive. However, none of the dishes stood out as exceptional, leaving me with the impression that the food was just okay.
**Service:**
Unfortunately, the service was the low point of my visit. The waitstaff was limited and inattentive. I had to wait a considerable amount of time before anyone took my order. When it did, no one ever came out to ask if everything was okay. We sat and waited for a while. I can hear them chatting in the back. Overall, the service lacked professionalism and efficiency, which significantly detracted from the dining experience.
In summary, while the vegan food at Florencia was decent, the poor service made the visit less enjoyable. There's definitely room for improvement in the customer service department.

Cute vegan cafe, average food - Edit
I went to this cafe for a late afternoon snack and cake when I wanted to escape from the heat. This is a casual cafe which looks pretty cute. I had the mushroom empanada and berries cheesecake. Both were very average — I wouldn’t go there for the food.

Pedi um ceviche vegano de entrada e um risoto com almôndegas e levou exatamente 1h para ser servida. Apesar da demora, os pratos são muito bem servidos e muito bem temperados. Minha nota é pela demora demasiada, vá com tempo.

I got delivery from here, communicating using WhatsApp and delivery via Rappi. They have a great menu, with lots of options. I really liked what I ordered (pesto), but my wife and Mother-in-law were so-so. I think they wanted more Peruvian flavor. #Veganuary
