Terribly expensive and not good

I had the vegan breakfast and I would have just objectively preferred Wetherspoons £5 vegan breakfast, not even thinking about price—and this one was I think £15 10% service charge!! The only saving grace was the sourdough bread slice but it was so thick.

Chelsea bun was vegan but very boring. Any cafe in the area would have better vegan pastries, including the chain bookstore Waterstones!

Cons: Unbelievably pricey

Vegan buns

The chelsea buns are naturally plant based and are a nice treat but nothing special. Dough is a average and it can be too sweet because it is drenched in sugary sauce.

Chelsea Buns :-)

Fitzbillies signature Chelsea buns are vegan and have similarities between the classic cinnamon roll. Macarons, apple strudel muffins are also available for vegans.

The Chelsea bun is very sweet, and it's dunked in a stucky like syrup.

It's worth a try even if you don't have a sweet tooth like me 😅.

Pros: Friendly staff., Prompt service., Good atmosphere.

Cons: Can get busy as it's located on a very busy street

Lovely Chelsea buns

I’ve only tried the Chelsea buns. Happy to learn that the signature Chelsea buns are Vegan by default.
They also offered vegan macarons, and apple strudel muffin.
They do offer dairy-free milks with their drinks.
The Chelsea buns look very much like cinnamon rolls, but are very moist inside as they are soaked in syrup, with a very crispy top and bottom. Worth a try! It was delish.

Pros: Service

Vegan Chelsea buns

So excited to see that their signature Chelsea buns are vegan. They’re so delicious- really sticky, sweet, with a beautiful cinnamon flavour. It’s a must for any tourist visiting Cambridge
