Great work by volunteers in the heart of Rome

This is a lovely place! In the heart of Rome, plenty of cats stroll through the ruins where more than 2000 years ago Caesar was murdered. There is a huge project made possible by volunteers where stray cats are caught and sterilised. If some cats are in bad health, the volunteers keep them until they are healthy. If the cats cannot be released again, then they can be adopted or stay in the area of the volunteers. There, you can visit the cats and it is even possible to pet some of them while the volunteers explain everything about their work. They also sell some cat-themed products with the money being fully donated to the project. Every cat-loving person in Rome should visit this place!
P.S.: Be aware that it is not allowed to take pictures! That's why I cannot add any pictures to this review.

Pros: Cats! /ᐠ。ꞈ。ᐟ\, Wonderful work, Great volunteers! Thank you!

Wonderful

A must-visit for any cat lovers! So cute watching the cats hop around in the ruins. The organization does amazing work, you can visit the cats inside, talk to the staff and buy small gifts for a donation!

Great place for cat lovers

Even if you're not a cat lover, this sanctuary does amazing work around Roma. I got to see some of their cats that live inside the shop (due to medical reasons they can't roam alone at the moment). I donated by buying some cute towels and a cat calendar ☺️. The cats live within the ancient ruins, so you see them for free from the street. You can also enter the ruins, but the cost goes towards the city and not the sanctuary FYI.

Pros: Cats

Cons: None
