We ordered vegan and got meat - Edit
After we asked whether they could make the sample platter vegan and they said yes we ordered. When we sat down they asked two more times if both plates should be vegan, we said yes.
Read moreWhen our dishes arrived I noticed right away I had halloumi on my plate and when my wife tried one of her dishes it was chicken meat. The guys working there do not seem to understand, what vegan means so of you decide to eat there stick with the clearly labeled options.
Also the toilets are pretty bad but I guess that's just a big city problem.

Mega leckere Falafel - Edit
Unsere Auswahl "Sternfalafel" hat sehr sehr lecker geschmeckt. Die Falafel wurden ganz frisch zubereitet und waren sehr knusprig. Außerdem gab es Hummus und eine weitere vegane Sauce dazu. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder.

Super delicious falafel wraps. The basic version costs 4€ and is already good but I would recommend to take the falafel with cauliflower (4,50€), because it contains way more deliciously grilled and spiced veggies (potato, beetroot, carrot). Also the hummus, tahini sauce and red sauce are very good 👍🏼

Beste Falafel, bester Geschmack, bester Service, beste Preise. Ich bin hier aus gutem Grund Stammkunde. Wenn ich 5 Sterne geben könnte, würde ich. Fleisch wird sehr wenig/selten serviert da die meisten Gerichte sowieso vegan oder vegetarisch sind, beeinträchtigt einen also selten beim Essen. Oben sitzen ist echt gemütlich.

Best falafel in the city - Edit
As an avid falafel consumer here in Hamburg, I can safely say this is the best in all of the city. The portions are huge, most everything is made on the spot, and the prices are insanely good. You can get a huge plate of salads, dips, and falafel for 4 euros - unbeatable. The people working there are very generous and kind. I come here many times per month, have not yet been disappointed.

We foudn this place by chance and was really surprised! We are pretty spoiled with falafel, cause we live in Berlin next to the best falafel in town. But the one from Falafelstern was incredible!
