Flavorful falafel sandwich - Edit
It was a pretty small space, and we had to wait a few minutes before he could take our order, but he was really friendly, and it was worth the wait. I’d already eaten a bit before coming, so half of the falafel sandwich was the perfect size for me.

Falafel Sababa was a pretty good Mediterranean spot nearby Dotonbori that served up falafel (of course), hummus, and more. They offer an extensive vegetarian/vegan menu which made it easy for those with different dietary needs.
Read moreI went with their Vegan Kebab plate (¥1600) which included falafel, hummus, salad, pita, and other sides. The hummus was well-made and was the best part of the meal. If you're hungry, going for the plate felt like the best move.
The owner was friendly but he kept forgetting the drinks we had ordered with our meals. I figured it was hard since it was a 1-2 person shop but probably could've been handled a bit better by writing down what drink went with which meal.
Limited seating inside and out, so be sure to come with only a small group if you're able.

The vegan options were clearly labeled and delicious. I enjoyed the mixed vegan plate which came with various different foods that were all delicious. The food was fresh and a generous portion. The owner, Moshe, was very nice and helpful. There is a small seating area. I highly recommend going!

Delicious food served quickly. The vegan kebab was excellent & is highly recommended. It was packed full of yummy veggies, vegan meat (soy?) and tasty sauce. I also had the falafel pita. This place is well worth visiting and the previous reviews were very accurate.

Read moreThe two of us weren’t extremely hungry, so we decided to share a mixed vegan platter. We were asked to sit at one of the two tables outside since they have limited indoor seating and require one order per person (understandably).
The mixed vegan platter comes with a full pita cut into quarters, three falafel, some vegan kebab, a salad with red cabbage and red onions, cucumbers, boiled carrots, roasted eggplant, hummus, and spicy sauce if you like the heat. It was pretty filling!
Water is self-service, and credit cards are accepted.

We had a side of hummus with pita bread also.
The kebab was great, loved it.
The hummus was ok, not the best I’ve had but it did taste authentic.
The sore is very cozy so you may queue if you want a seat, otherwise the street out front is very quiet - afew people stood outside and ate.
Store had a eftpos machine but was only taking cash when we visited.
