I won’t even try to cushion it, this is the most flavorless middle eastern food I’ve had in years. As a vegan, you can pretty much depend on falafel and hummus world wide, and it’s no where close to my favorite cuisine, but it’s always there and innately packed with flavor. This however, is just rather bland by EU and US standards. I’m not sure how or why, but it just was.
Read moreThe upside is that it’s super cheap and hefty, so you really get a lot, which is great. I just wish it actually had any flavor. Also, it’s a small place with two workers, so the attention is nil when it’s busy.

Had a 115 pesos full plate several times here. Always made me full. good taste. Good, polite staff. The prices are reasonable.

I recently ate in the store. The lady scammed me. I ate here many times and never scammed in the past. So sad. In playa almost every place is scam.
So minus 3.
The falafel Balls got smaller.

Taste of falafel was nice, same for the hummus and salad. The fallafels were very small and also plate came with small pita bread. Generally chips took majority of the plate which was disaapointing. I would go again, but don't expect fireworks. #Veganuary

This place was my saving grace while I was in Playa for a week. I was running out of money travelling Mexico when, lo and behold, I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant a short walk from my hostel. Not only was the food cheap ($4 for a big falafel and salad pita) but it was also delicious and the staff were all so lovely and friendly. I had the falafel pita, the hummus plate, and the falafel burger multiple times. Seriously, $5.50 for a way better burger than what I would have gotten for $12+ in any other vegan restaurant in Playa.

Everything was amazing! I got the “full plate” and asked if they could add more salad instead of fries. They gave me a grande portion! Best part was the falafel: crispy on the outside and perfectly moist on the inside. Was so delicious we ate it all before I could get a photo.

Stopped by Falafel Nessya for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the falafel pita sandwich and it was excellent. Loved everything about the sandwich and also liked the provided sauces. Food came out rather fast which was nice.

Petit restaurant qui vaut franchement le détour. Bonnes assiettes (on a testé le burger, le pita et l'assiette du jour) et c'est délicieux et bien servi. En plus les prix sont très abordables. Les deux cuisinières étaient très aimables, je recommande vivement!

It is a small utilitarian place to eat, not a cafe. Been there many times, food is always great. My favorite is plato completo, very satisfying. A little worried is that staff is changing fast, hope it was a temporary problem

Who knew Playa del Carmen was a falafel destination? Delicious falafel made-to-order and excellent hummus! If you know someone who thinks they don’t like falafel, you would take them here to prove them wrong.

They also have vegan popsicles!

Get the full platter for just over 100 pesos and you won't be disappointed. You get a bit of everything, including fresh hot pitas that practically melt in your mouth. So much flavor, just the right amount of spice, and for so little money! That's not even counting all the yummy flavors of agua fresca and popsicles to refresh you! This became a personal favorite of mine instantly.

Read moreI’ve had the salad, the pita, and the full plate here so far and been happy with them each time. The staff are friendly are welcome, the falafel are much better than I was expecting to find in Playa, and the portion sizes are really solid for the money.
Definitely worth a visit for a nice cheap lunch!
