A wonderful lunch! - Edit
This is a wonderful falafel place. The pitas used to serve the falafels were so soft and fresh tasting. The falafels themselves tasted freshly made and delicious. The place is very small which made it difficult for us to find. Google maps told us we were standing on top of it and we still couldn’t see it. But with a little persistence we made it and it was so worth it. In the attached picture, the chalk sign on the wall is the only indication that you’ve made it to the right place.

Great Falafel! - Edit
Small mom and pop shop, walkable from Playa Del Carmen’s main tourist zone (5th st), serving great falafel plates. They are a fully vegan place.

Good for a snack - Edit
I ordered the „half falafel“…was really tasty and freshly prepared. I have a lot of vegan options and I think it’s a good place for a snack.
Read moreThe only think is that the place isn’t so cozy to spend longer time and they have a limited drinking menu. No coffee for example…overall I would recommend this place for the food. Maybe as a takeaway next time:-)
Pros: Delicious Food, Friendly service, Many vegan options
Cons: Restaurant is not so comfy

Cheap and delicious - Edit
Small place and despite two staff on duty, service was slow and they seemed very uninterested. However, the price is really good for such a touristy area, and the falafel plate and pita were very tasty. It's also nice that you can order just half a pita if you're not very hungry.

Cons: Service wasn't great, Place could do with a bit of a clean

Es el precio más barato que he encontrado en PC. La comida está rica y con el plato completo te quedas más que lleno. Recomendable.

This is the best falafel I’ve ever had, it’s also really good value for money. The hummus was not to my taste(a little bit bitter) but I really enjoyed my meal.

The food was good but I’ve definitely had better falafel elsewhere! Maybe this is the best falafel in the area which is why everyone raves about it so much?

You get what you pay for - Edit
I won’t even try to cushion it, this is the most flavorless middle eastern food I’ve had in years. As a vegan, you can pretty much depend on falafel and hummus world wide, and it’s no where close to my favorite cuisine, but it’s always there and innately packed with flavor. This however, is just rather bland by EU and US standards. I’m not sure how or why, but it just was.
Read moreThe upside is that it’s super cheap and hefty, so you really get a lot, which is great. I just wish it actually had any flavor. Also, it’s a small place with two workers, so the attention is nil when it’s busy.
