amazing concept, even better food

not a fully vegan restaurant, but has a full vegetarian menu and the vegan dish i did try was AMAZING. my favorite thing i ate in ubud for sure (better than some of the fully vegan spots- sorry not sorry) and even though they aren't a vegan restaurant, i felt good about eating here because of how much they care about and give back to the local community: donating food and providing medical services using the restaurant's profits. the place really lives up to its name, if not for animals, at least it's local people taking care of their own and doing their best considering the unfair gentrification practices surrounding them.

Pros: kind owners and staff, excellent service, AMAZING price, took great care to make sure my meal was vegan
