Nice vegan dinner/aperitivo! - Edit
Great vegan aperitivo with many options and big portion. We struggled to finish it in 2 people, great option for some vegan snacks in a group.

Average falafel burger! - Edit
I tried their falafel burger and fries with chili mayo. Food was good but nothing special . Location was great though! I enjoyed their outdoor seating.

Good - Edit
I was at another branch first and was surprised that they didn't have many vegan options there. Then I moved to this address and they had a bigger selection there. The food was great and cheap. If there was more food in it, it would be better. I had a salad. The branch was nicely decorated for Halloween.

Bland - Edit
Mushroom Burger was pretty bland. Also the staff is cold, almost harsh, and gives you the feeling they don't want you there (except for the guy who brings the food, he is super nice).

Nice place, dinner ok - Edit
The first time in Riga (and in Latvia in general) I was quite excited and curious about everything. I saw this place and decided to give it a try. There are various vegan and clearly labeled options on the menu (you have to order at the counter). I chose the potato pancakes and portions of sweet potato fries. The dish comes with vegan mayonnaise and some vegetables. The pancakes were too greasy, but the sweet potato fries were delicious and perfectly cooked (not greasy at all). The staff was king and friendly. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, with Latvian music playing in the background which I really liked!

Decent food but not ideal for singletons - Edit
It wasn't immediately clear but you have to order your food at the bar. This meant leaving my stuff at the table so it wasn't taken. Ordered the food which was pretty reasonably priced. Potato pancakes are excellent but not a full meal. I finished my drink long before the food arrived but didn't want to leave the table until the food came. I'd maybe go back as a group but not on my own. Vegan options clearly labelled and everything tasted good

great food - Edit
The place is very nice, great for meeting with people. Everything was great, food was fresh and tasty. The only thing that surprised us was the fact, that they gave us the dessert (churros) 20 minutes before our burgers. As churros are best when hot, we ate them before the main dish. Recommend telling the stuff to wait with giving the desserts :).

Vegan options marked in the menu, many burgers and one wrap. I took the (smoked) tofu burger, falafel burger, and vegan wrap (smoked tofu & veggies). The strawberry & basil combucha is also really tasty 😋

Kiploku Grauzdini & Potato Pancakes! - Edit
This is our favourite of all the Ezītis Mīgla bars in Rīga. My partner is Latvian, so we like to go somewhere that also caters for her traditional tastes - and she's a huge fan of the vegan Potato Pancakes here. The tofu burger is also good - but I generally always get the pancakes and some of the Kiploku Grauzdini (Fried Garlic Rye Breads - which are to die for!)
Read moreBe sure to ask for the vegan dip (Vegan Mayo). The staff are lovely - also speak good English if you need. Many of the beers within Latvia are vegan, but do research a little beforehand.
A lovely bar, nice little street and good ambience. We'll always come here when visiting family in Rīga.
Pros: Good Food, Okay Prices, Nice venue & staff

One of the restaurants that have a menu with labels of vegan food, with multiple options. May not be the best restaurant here, but an excellent choice if you want to eat in the north part of the city centre.

Pasta with mushrooms and dried tomatoes was amazing, I would have it again if I could. I have never used drill in this combination but this made the dish absolutely perfect for me today. Nice staff and very good location.

Used to be better - Edit
It used to be one of the favorite place to go. But the last time we've been here was a total disaster. We ordered vegan pizza and vegetable noodles. There was way too much cheese on the pizza. And it was covered with a lot of badly chopped tomatoes, which made it look like someone accidently dropped a bowl of salad on it. As for the vegetable noodles, there was so much ketchup that it was the only thing you could taste.

Average burgers and bad pizza - Edit
You can order fallafel or tofu burger with fries or salad. They are tasty but tofu or fallafel is not so good. Also bread tastes quite like from McDonald as I can remember... Pizza I ordered was very bad.

We were there only for drinks.. - Edit
We found this by accident, because we were looking for a comfortable place to have a drink later in the evening. We were surprised to find such an unpretentious place in this part of Rīga. The menu sounded okay and they also have tap beer, a clear plus. Not so nice: we had to go inside after 10pm; a pity, because the relatively quiet alley and the warm night invited to stay outside a little longer. But it turned out to be quite nice inside, too: There was really good music playing there, a mix between proto pop, kraut and psychedelic rock/pop on the more accessible side, a marriage of Garbanotas and Klaus Johann Grobe. Can’t say too much about the vegan food. I just had decent potato wedges with kecūps along with my beers and they were hot and crispy and all in all very affordable for that part of the city.

Cheap food but cheap taste - Edit
Clearly labelled vegan food. Order at the bar. Had the tofu burger with fries. Was really affordable for this location in city center. Taste was okay but tasted actually like a microwave burger. Fries also really cheap. Maybe the other dishes are better.

Every meat restaurant should offer vegan options like these! - Edit
We shared a creamy pumpkin soup for starters and then had pizza and a tortilla wrap. The food was delicious and the staff really friendly and attentive. Moreover, the place is cosy to sit down and relax a little. Unfortunately, they offer meat, because apparently they know so much about preparing yummy vegan food :/
