Didn’t think Mexican food would be found in a small Japanese town but this was great! We arrived at 17h30 and queued for 10mins. The queue got a lot longer throughout the evening as the place was small. Staff is very kind and knows what is vegan or not (specified me to not use the mayo on the table). I had the vegan burrito and it was really good and filling! Just a heads up they charge you for a side salad but not for fries.

They have a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans. We had the burger (vegan) and quesadilla (vegetarian), both were great. Staff spoke good English too, definitely recommend this one!

The food was really good! It was nice to have so many vegetarian options. They have a separate menu with vegan and vegetarian options. The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and relaxed. The enchilada I ate was one of my favourite meals in Japan!

Sadly there is no vegan burgers available (even though you can swap out the meat patty for a soy patty) because the buns have butter in them. BUT the vegan burrito ( fries or salad) is delicious, it even has vegan cheese in it. The staff was super friendly, spoke English very well and was very informed about the vegan parts of their menu. 10/10 would recommend!

EVILTEX is a good place for vegans and vegetarians. They have a separate vegetarian menu. There is only one vegan option - a burrito with fries or salad (+60 yen for the salad) - but it was quite delicious and flavorful, and the portion size was quite generous for a reasonable price. The ambience makes it feel like an old-fashioned American diner.

Super lunch at Eviltex - we went twice! We all had different dishes and all were pleased with taste and ample serving size. Veggie burger, enchilada, burrito and quesadilla were all yummy for our vegetarian family. Fun atmosphere, great music and lovely owners.

A small tex mex restaurant decorated in Americana. Staff were friendly and confirmed our dietary status (eg checking if dairy or eggs were ok or not. Warning- the meals are huge! Much larger than your typical Japanese meals. Come hungry or share a meal. One vegan option, as others have said… and a few different vegetarian options.

Was spur of the moment place since we needed to meet somewhere after words. Was a nice place on the way to where we were going so a buddy of mine and I happen to try this place. Was small, which was fine. Two groups in front of us. Was okay. We’re chatting with them as we were waiting to be seated.
Read moreWhen we finally were seated, I ordered the only vegan item and a Vodka Sunrise to drink. Drinks came quick which was nice since it was a little hot still. When the food came… I was blown away. I went with the vegan burrito and fries. I don’t remember the other option other than fries. Also came with a little avocado sauce or guacamole. I don’t remember what it was and with some nice salsa. The burrito was wrapped in aluminum foil to keep its shape.
Took my first bite of the burrito and was in heaven!
Used the salsa on the burrito and OMGosh it was awesome as well.
The fries were so yummy and crispy on their own. With the guacamole or avocado sauce it added such a level awesome that you just wanted more.
The fries was a nice large portion which was nice.
Pros: Large portion of fries, Flavors were amazing, Friendly and informative service staff
Cons: Wish more avocado sauce to go with the fries

Petit restaurant offrant une option vegan (burrito) et 4 options végétariennes. Lorsque l'on rentre à l'intérieur, on voyage directement au Etat-Unis avec une ambiance très américaine. J'y suis allé deux fois et n'ai pas été déçu, leur seule option végétalienne est bonne et les portions servies sont généreuses. De plus, le personnel parle très bien anglais, ce qui facilite la discussion !
