This place is attached to Vege Delight, they share the same street entrance, and to get to Vege Delight you have to go through Evergreen Thai Kitchen.
Read moreWhen I walked in I was asked if I wanted veg or non-veg, I said I wanted veg Thai, they told me their food had fish sauce in it. I asked if anything could be made without fish sauce and they didn't answer yes or no, only that they'd bring me both menus and then they seated me on the Evergreen Thai side. I didn't have any luck with getting what I wanted on the Evergreen menu, so I ordered two sides instead, tofu and spring rolls, neither of which was special. Next time I will go to the Vege Delight side.

Great Thai food with plenty of vegetarian options - Edit
Evergreen Thai is a great option for Thai food in downtown Toronto, especially if you are looking for vegetarian or vegan-friendly dishes. There are plenty of choices including vegetable spring rolls, mango salad, tofu dishes, curries, fried rice and Pad Thai. The staff are helpful with dietary requests and can explain which dishes can be prepared vegetarian or vegan. The food is flavourful, portions are generous, and the restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere. A good choice for dining with a group where some people are vegetarian and others are not.
