Delicious vegan brunch - Edit
Had a delicious brunch, went on a Sunday morning and it was very quiet but the seating area is within a separate bar area so may get busy and noisy at other times.

Had a lovely brunch here, sat on the terrace on a sunny day was actually so lush, would highly recommend if the weather's nice. Indoors isn't much of a vibe imo but the food and coffee was really good. Definitely wanna go back and try more of their options

Good food but noisy - Edit
Shares premises with a non-vegan establishment. Order from the right-hand side of the bar. Limited downstairs seating – most is upstairs, including a terrace. Food was good – I had avocado on toast, plus a very nice smoothie. However, it was very noisy. The upstairs area had loud music playing. We sat on the terrace but, unfortunately, the doors of the indoor area were opened (unnecessary given that there was air-conditioning), meaning that the terrace became noisy also. Wasn't even decent music – just a constant, loud boom boom. We ended up finishing our food quickly and leaving.

Essential Vegan Cafe - Definitely Essential! - Edit
I finally made it to Essential Vegan Kitchen to try their feijoada, and it was absolutely delicious. The thinly sliced greens on top were a simple touch but added so much flavor. I love when a meal out gives me cooking inspiration, and this one really delivered. In a part of Hackney Wick that’s usually junk food, this felt refreshingly wholesome without compromising on taste. 100% recommend—loved it.

Excellent sweet buns and savoury options. You can sit on the terrace outside and inside, coffee is in the basement. Upstairs is another bar and restaurant where there is non-vegan food.

Wonderful cheesy waffles 🧇 - Edit
We visited the original Essential Vegan Cafe a long time ago when they had a place in the Shoreditch area, we're glad to see them back again in different premises, this time at All My Friends in Hackney Wick.
