Read moreOkay ladies and gentlemen, the VEGAN PEINIRLI may just be the BEST vegan food I’ve had in my entire life. It uses impossible mince meat and vegan cheese and I honestly had to question whether or not I was eating vegan food. If you like meat/cheese, then this is the best vegan alternative I have EVER had. It’s unbelievable, like god-tier, out of this world, never-gonna-be-topped, would-travel-back-to-Thessaloniki-just-to-get-it type good. MMMMMMMM!
If meat or dairy was never your think though and you don’t like the idea of substitutes, then they have lots of more “health food” - vegetables and whole foods - options on the menu. They looked good too, but the peinirli will live on forever in my dreams 🙏

Read moreI had the jackfruit melt for brunch. It was a kind of sandwich with potatoes and it was tasty. The potatoes were kind of overcooked.

We were here for Sunday brunch and grateful to find a vegan tofu scramble. It was outstanding. Tumeric scrambled tofu with sauteed mushrooms and spinach on a health sized slab of sourdough was served with vegan mozzarella sprinkled on top. The excellent quality may be due to the fact that this restaurant also has a fresh vegetable market attached. However at 12 euro each it was a little pricier than other similar places in Thessoloniki. I thought it was well worth the price and have paid more elsewhere in Greece.

Amazing peinirli - Edit
The only place so far where I found the peinirli (let s say like pizza dough) with beyond meat and vegan cheese, very good. Also the eggplant spread and baked eggplant were delicious. Clearly marked vegan option on the menu.
Read morePlease note that you eat inside a supermarket. It is a very cool concept but when doing the reservation ask to be seated outside or far from the butcher area

Great vegan options sit outside though - Edit
I tried two of their vegan options, scrambled tofu with mushrooms and spinach on bread and jackfruit cheese melt sandwich, tasty and filling both of them, especially the jackfruit. They serve great coffee (cold brew was my favourite). Just a warning, it's also a food market/deli that among other things they sell meat so I wouldn't recommend sitting inside if you can't stand the sight/smell of meat.
