Better than nothing

I hate writing a not-so-great review of a place when I also want to be grateful for its existence. I think it's amazing that this park cafe offers vegan options at all and that should be celebrated. Unfortunately, when we went most vegan options were sold out/had been taken off the menu so we ended up having to go for chips and a chip butty. This wouldn't have been so bad if the chips had been nice, but they really weren't. I can't remember ever having to use as much ketchup in a meal, simply because the chips were so dry and tasteless. On a positive note, they do frappes with soya milk (although there were no ice in my frappé, it was more like a cold coffee/shake drink) which is great and their smoothies are delicious. Another great thing is that they actually sell vegan Magnums so even vegans can enjoy an ice cream in the park. I think we'll visit again but will avoid the chips.

Pros: vegan options, not very expensive

Cons: can get very busy, many options sold out, chips were incredibly dry
