Change of menu. - Edit
Menu has changed recently and only one option of plant based was on the menu. Chickpeas. Extremely disappointing that a company has gone back to selling meat.

This is so sad, terrible news! I come to Barbados for work and have been looking forward to finally visiting this place. No wonder it didn’t show up when I searched “vegan” … 😞

Greasy food and unpleasant oil taste - Edit
We found Eleven oh 7 listed here on HappyCow as a fully vegan spot in Barbados and were excited to finally visit on our last day after several missed attempts. While we discovered they’re no longer fully vegan, it wasn’t a problem for us since they still had a decent selection of vegan options.
Read moreThe staff were friendly and accommodating, which we genuinely appreciated. We ordered a vegan chik'n sandwich with chips and vegan chik'n nuggets to take back to our hotel as our final meal before heading to the airport. Unfortunately, this is where the experience went downhill. The food was extremely greasy, and the oil it had been fried in had a very unpleasant odour and taste, suggesting it hadn’t been changed or was not fresh. The smell and flavour were so off-putting that we could only manage two bites before giving up, and sadly, the rest went to waste.
It was a real disappointment, especially since every other food experience in Barbados had been excellent, with fresh and vibrant flavours. Compared to that, this meal felt like the complete opposite. It was a particularly disheartening way to end our trip, as we had been looking forward to it as our last meal on the island.
Cons: Greasy, Oil smells

Delicious! - Edit
Such good food in a cute little area! Really tasty - we had the make your own and it was so flavourful and tasty. The Thai rice was especially good and I really enjoyed the lemonade too.

Vegan kiosk near the beach - Edit
Very tasty food. Well seasoned. Great location near the beach. I did find it quite expensive though. It's not even a proper restaurant so not sure why the prices were so high. That is why I didn't return to this place. The waiting time was quite long as well.

Great! - Edit
The ice cream is really good, I ordered the Almond Berry flavor. Fiesta burrito is also nice. I think they are the only all vegan stall in this beach area, lots of selection on the menu.

Kleiner Laden inmitten von Savvy Beach. Die einzige komplett vegane Anlaufstelle dort aber dafür auch sehr viel Auswahl. Hier findet sicher jeder etwas 💚

Incredible tasting food in great location - Edit
We combined a fantastic snorkelling cruise with Tranquility Cruises with lunch at Eleven Oh Seven at Savvy on the Beach. The food was probably the best I ate on Barbados, and I can’t recommend highly enough, super tasty Bajan Sunday Food Box, with outstanding Mac and cheese, a must try!

Great location, decent food, high prices - Edit
We were so happy to find a fully vegan restaurant right on the beach and ordered lots of dishes to try.
Read moreThe location is fantastic, with parking nearby & there are benches with parasols right outside the food stand which was great.
The ‘Bajan sunday food’ was great, with fried vegan chicken and rice & peas. At 70 BDS it was expensive, but we shared it between 2 people.
The ‘Vegan delights burger’ was a huge loaded bagel. Tasty but very sweet & sticky. It was 55 BDS, and didn’t come with any sides.
The ‘Buddha Bowl’ was ok, but plain. Could have done with some more salad leaves & a nice dressing.
We didn’t like the drinks, the ‘fresh pressed elixirs’ which we assumed were fresh juice but tasted more like syrups.
There is also a great selection of all vegan ice creams. We ordered 5 flavours and enjoyed them all.
Overall it’s a great addition to the vegan options in Barbados and although it is pricey I would probably come again to try something else on the extensive menu.

Had the Bajan Hot Hunny Chik’n Sandwich (bagel) - it’s pretty sweet and messy to eat but it’s also super tasty. Would go for something less sweet next time.

Food truck not bistro, food not worth shouting about - Edit
I think we got pulled in by the idea of the pancakes and other great food on happy cow but unfortunately this seems to have changed and it’s now a food truck in savvy on the beach. It’s a really cool vibe and great area but the food is bland I’m afraid. I wouldn’t be rushing back.

Good menu but mixed experience - Edit
The menu is great with lots of choice and fun / interesting dishes. We had the quesadillas which were delicious.
Read moreUnfortunately the peanut butter / chocolate milkshake was just too sweet for me and tasted really artificial. I imagine if you like that sort of v sweet Starbucks style shake though you might love it.
We had to wait 20 mins for the food (which was take out only). But overall top marks for being fully vegan and producing such good quesadillas!
Pros: Wide fully vegan menu, Excellent quesadilla , Friendly server
Cons: Long wait for take out, Milkshake too sweet

Thank you for your support and the awesome review, our menu is 100% customizable and for drinks you can choose your desired plant based sweetener and also alert the cashier if unsweetened, sweetened or extra sweet. We make our food items from scratch, upon ordering your quesadilla, your tortilla is freshly made, pressed, and filled to perfection then grilled. Unfortunately we dont serve fast food but instead we strive to make great food as fast as we can. You can remedy this also by calling ahead to have your order ready by the time you arrive. We look forward to serving you again in the near future.
