Nice Grab and Go spot - Edit
Stopped by to get some dinner. The place is quite small but cute. There is a little bit of counter seating if you wanted to eat in but it is primarily grab and go.
Read moreI was there close to closing time and was worried they would be low on options, but they still seemed to have everything stocked.
Food was decent but felt a little overpriced (especially the desserts).
Good if you are in a hurry and need a quick meal.

Super nice - Edit
We had a wonderful lunch here. The Breakfast Burrito was great. The soup, Corn Chowder with Chimichurri & Corn Chips, was exceptionally good. Their muffins were also great. Many of their offerings are gluten free. The place was extremely friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommended!

Flavorful! Great place to grab lunch. - Edit
I just ate the Cowboy Caviar burrito which is delicious! It is also gluten free. Each item in the food case has an allergen listing symbol which is very helpful. People who work there are very friendly. I went back and tried the green goddess wrap which is also so tasty!

Plant-based eatery in Park Slope, Brooklyn - Edit
Everything made in-house using minimal oil and no refined sugar at this vegan deli and bakery in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Among its wares, serves a rotating daily soup specials. Caught the Egyptian lentil soup, tasty and soul-warming on a cool fall evening. Paired it with a tempeh-kale salad, and as a treat, a sunflower butter cup cookie. Other things to look out for: burritos, mac and cheese, and their lasagna. Mostly functions as a grab-and-go but does have limited seating inside and outside. Cecily, the founder, was so welcoming and a fount of knowledge. You could hear the love, care, and dedication in her voice. Drop by, support, and say hello.

One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Loved the sausage and the smoothy as well. Can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the selection and variety was outstanding. And it's great that it's all plant based. Absolutely love this place. We'll be back!

A Jewel! - Edit
Thanks to the HappyCow app I found this jewel. I actually was in these parts of BK to try out another spot but they weren't open yet so I explored and circulated my energy aka 💲 currency💲 in a few other places that popped up on the app. I am so glad I did NOT pass up this place. First impression walking in was that it smelled delicious 😋 so I knew whatever they made would be full of flavor and not bland✅ I was overwhelmed with joy with the variety of goods I could leave the store with too. Then my excitement 🎉✨went up another notch because everything is made in house. I only left with four items which was the green goddess dressing, the BBQ jackfruit wrap🥲😍(I hope that, that is a regular item and not seasonal), a spinach ricotta scone and biscuit (no pic for either). I am certain I spoke with the owner who's name I don't recall at the moment. She was so pleasant with explaining what they had and what was in it etc. Great CUSTOMER SERVICE is really what gets me to return and she had it(whispers🗣️so I'll be back😆) I recommend YOU go and check them out.
Read moreP.S. I enjoyed this place better than the vegan restaurant I initially trooped over to that side of BK for.

Singing the beet electric - Edit
I’ve been coming here since it opened in Dec and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried! I just today had the Buffalo Chik’n Wrap and it’s motivated me to finally sing the beet electric. I’m loving this wrap so much. It’s delicious —spicy and full of favor. Lots of protein but not from processed or fried fake meats. All of the food here is homemade and most of it seems to be being made when you visit because it smells so good in here. Oh and I’ve loved the SCONES so much. My favorite was the chocolate, hazelnut, date scone. The breakfast wrap is also excellent. I brought a sheet of their amazing lasagna to a dinner party and everyone LOVED it! When the weather finally warms up, this vegan will be filling his picnic basket up here and walking the two blocks to Prospect Park for the perfect picnic. I cannot wait!

Adorable shop with a very lovely owner! I went here and tried many different things. This is a great way to prep for the week, if you want to bring things to a party or a picnic or just for food to enjoy anytime of the day really😄The cookies were sooooo delicious! I also love their broccoli, cole slaw and fresh breads. My husband got the lasagna and breakfast sandwich and he loved them as well! They also have different soups everyday with samples to try out:) Such a fun place to go experience! I’m looking for the next time I go!

I'll be a regular when I win Lotto - Edit
Lots of variety, and everything seems to be house made. I had a delicious salad of cooked squash, beets and red onions in a maple vinaigrette. But a small container was $9. I know grocery prices are high, but I suspect the pricing has more to do with the cost of renting a storefront in Park Slope.

Hi Janet, Thanks for your review and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the dish you tried. I've been contemplating what to say in response to your comments about pricing for some time. I appreciate your perspective.
Read moreOur pricing is reflective of many factors. We do make everything in house, on-site, from scratch with the exception of our tortillas and our yogurt. Everything is organic, minimal oil and no refined sugar, with commercially compostable containers for the majority of our packaging.
We are a new, small business in a neighborhood that has not had a plethora of plant-based options - and exactly the reason we wanted to be in Park Slope. We chose to be a grab and go concept to mitigate risk (future pandemic, cost of real estate, small footprint, small kitchen producing ALL of our food).
We are a small business, proudly employing people at a living wage. We are trying to operate in the most responsible way possible to keep us in business.
Our mission is to provide healthy plant-based food to all humans, as reasonably priced as possible, all while doing something positive for our ever-worsening climate crisis.
We are doing our best to be the best version of what we imagined. We are a work in progress! I'm proud of what we are thus far and what we are becoming. Thank you for trying us out!
All that being said, I hope you will come back to see us again! Cecily (owner/founder)
