Not too bad

Got the vegan crepes with dark chocolate and strawberries. Anything with dark chocolate and strawberries is tasty, but the crepe didn’t have any of its own flavor. You could split one between two people for a nice dessert!

Nice but pricey

Vegan crepes with berries, dark chocolate and strawberry sorbet. Enough for two people to share. Quite expensive but nice. Three vegan ice cream options, strawberry, passion fruit and chocolate. Free WiFi.

creperia, sweet or savoury, gluten-free option

came here 5 times in a week for their gluten-free vegan crepes. my friend and I would split both a savoury and sweet one. you pay based off how many toppings you choose. made fresh. cute space. best for breakfast.. or even twice in one day.

Pros: gluten-free options, dairy-free chocolate sauce, open early

First Icelandic vegan food option I didn’t like...

This place was always super crowded so figure it must be amazing (although it looks like all tourists). Unfortunately this crepe was terrible: hard to cut through, bland, and expensive. There’s no set menu options, you build your own, but I think if they had some set options it would help. Price was really high for how bland this was. Skip this.

Pros: Vegan crepe option

Cons: Vegan crepe costs more, Expensive , Lack of flavor

5/5 super yummy

Very cute little place with amazing vegan & gluten free crepes! The man at the counter offered to clean the pan for us before we even asked, and ensured our toppings were vegan! Definitely more pricey but a very nice little treat. Free WiFi as well, but the space is very small so prepare for that. All around a lovely experience

Pros: Delicious, Vegan friendly

Good crepe

Had a crepe, not as tasty as the one at joylato, and fewer vegan options. Also cramped due to the supersentral location.

Two options- usual or Vegan GF lactose free crepes with total free choice on toppings. I had apple, cinnamon and PECAN BUTTER....

Pros: It’s all about the options

Perfect cosy hide away with the best crepes in the world!

We were thrilled to find this little hidden treasure in down town Reykjavik. It was on our list to visit but we didn't get round to it until the last day, which is probably a good thing or we would have spent every single day here!

The adorable little café features both sweet and savoury options and are very helpful with going through the toppings suitable for vegans. You can watch the crepes being made whilst you wait, in dact you can also watch this from the window outside!

We had a busy day with it being our last, so we were happy with the fast and friendly experience before our journey home.

Next time we visit Reykjavík we will definitely visit again and will be recommending this place to anybody who visits!

Pros: Fast and friendly service, Very accommodating for vegans, Perfect pancakes

Cons: The café is small so seats are limited

Great savoury and sweet vegan options

You can choose from a variety of vegan toppings for your crepe such as fresh fruits, dark chocolate, vegan cheese, hummus, veggies,...and they offer a vegan crepe which I haven’t seen anywhere else yet.

Really enjoyed this find and would probably also be a nice place to get breakfast.

impressive crepe-filler options

We enjoyed this spot and were happy to see they offered vegan crepes. Pretty sure I've never one since going vegan years ago. It was delicious! I opted for a sweet version with berries and maple syrup. But there are so many options to pick from - sweet or savory.
They have vegan milk option for lattes. I had a London Fog latte and it was delicious.
We tried to go back another day before we left for the airport, but despite being told they opened at 8am that day we went by at 8:45am and they still weren't open and we couldn't wait.

Pros: vegan crepes!, tons of choices

Cons: service was a bit slow and unenthusiastic

Great GF and vegan crepe

A lovely small crepe shop with very friendly staff and good service. I got a gluten free, vegan crepe with avocado and sun dried tomatoes and it was great! About 1450 isk.

Vegan crepes are a lovely snack on cold winters nights! They have many vegan fillings to choose from and the staff are very friendly :) it gets busy so best to go at off peak times but not a major issue

Pancakes

We were not that impressed unfortunately, when we asked for vegan pancakes they told us that everything can be made vegan. We ordered and when the pancakes arrived they were not vegan. The staff was confused and asked if we wanted everything vegan, even the ice cream. We had to send the pancakes back. We finally got pancakes with vegan sorbet though and it tasted good.

First vegan dissapointment on Iceland-trip

Had seen the cafe on the Happy Cow-list of vegan-friendly places in Reykjavik so I thought we'd give it a try. My boyfriend and I both chose the vegan crepe (150 ISK extra for that) with strawberries/blueberries and maple syrup. The espresso I ordered was the worst I've ever tasted (although I'm not a big fan of espresso anyway). We got our order fairly quickly, only to dissapointed about the amount of toppings (seriously, like three small drops of syrup and one sliced strawberry or a couple of blueberries on a BIG, thick buckwheat crepe that tasted very bitter).

So all in all, wouldn't recommend it to vegans unless you choose like 10 toppings, which weren't marked clearly for vegan choices anyway. It was also fairly expensive, especially for such a disappointment with the taste and amount of toppings.

If they would make the (vegan) crepe recipe better (sweeter, crispier, more fat?) and add A LOT more of the toppings on your order and clearly mark which are vegan and maybe also add ready "sets" of vegan crepes (that would have been cheaper in the ratio of toppings on the crepe, but none of them were vegan), and also improve the coffee it could be a nice place. Also, full of tourists, if you want to avoid that. My bf got a scoop of ice cream on his shoe, it was an accident by a customer but didn't help the experience.

Pros: Vegan choice

Cons: Extra cost for vegan crepe, Minimal amount of toppings on crepe, Bitter coffee and crepe

My only bad experience so far in Iceland

I came here very excited at the thought of vegan crepes (with a large sign in the window saying vegan options were available!) but was very sadly disappointed on every level. There were three members of staff working, of which two appeared to be new and not know what they were doing, whilst the third (a blond man) was rude from the outset and only got worse as time went on. After waiting a rather long time for a savoury crepe (spinach, mushrooms and olives) and coffee, it came to me overcooked, dry and hard with very minimal fillings; nearly inedible. As my coffee had not arrived, I asked if I could get that and was told that the only person working who knew how to make coffee was on a break (the blond man) and could I wait for a couple of minutes. I said that was fine, but 10 minutes later I was still waiting so I asked if I could have a refund for the coffee so I could carry on with my day. As the two staff still on duty didn't know how to do this and had to ask the man on the break, this then resulted in the blond man sending a torrent of verbal abuse my way and mocking me loudly so that everyone could hear for the remainder of my time there while I waited for my refund, which as I was a female traveller on my own was extremely menacing and intimidating. I would have complained about the quality of the food at the time but I felt that I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. To the credit of the two other staff, they did very quietly apologise to me as I left but it wasn't enough to make up for the awfulness of this experience.

Nice crepes

Happy to make savoury or sweet vegan crepes, we had one of each. Good size and not too pricey for what you get. Has a good variety of non-dairy milks for coffee.

Staff super friendly.

Savory Over Sweet...

The GF vegan crepe is made with buckwheat. It's good, but works best as a savory crepe. My wife liked the pesto on her crepe, but I liked the honey mustard.

Pros: Healthy, Tons of veggie filler options

Cons: Vegan crepe not the best for sweet crepes, Small, crowded seating area, Gets pricey with multiple fillers

Good little cafe

Nice cafe, they have a big sign that says "vegan crepes", and they were delicious. Both sweet and savory.

Also has good drinks - almond milk options for coffee, as well as a delicious "Gulden Milk" with almond and spices.
