THE best Tacos in Puebla - Edit
The food was awesome! Enrique, the owner, is an incredibly nice person. He prepares six different vegan taco fillings every day so you can try something new every time you go there. He also sells vegan desserts which are homemade by a friend of his and he offers a small selection of vegan cheeses and mock meat. Highly recommend to check out this place if you are in Puebla!

Make sure you visit if you’re passing through Puebla! Enrique was incredibly welcoming, and gave us tasters of everything on the menu as we couldn’t decided on what to have… everything was delicious. We stopped by for a snack but came out stuffed!

I went in with high expectations after these reviews. I don't know if it was an off day, but the tortillas were grilled to the point where it was difficult to eat the tacos (struggled breaking the tortillas with my teeth and the tortillas ended up cracking and the filling fell over my plate), and the faux meat/filling was too salty for me to eat. The chocolate cake was delicious though. I'll visit again for the cake if I'm in the area.

You HAVE to Support This Restautant! - Edit
Run by a very friendly owner, and he was kind enough to take the time to make recommendations of other vegan spots in Puebla. The menu is constantly changing, he said he has recipes for over 90 different kinds of tacos! We had a total of 11 tacos, 8 being different kinds and every single one of them was fantastic.

We have only been eating vegan for 5 months and never when we have been traveling in MX. Our Spanish is very limited. Enrique and his staff make eating here a dream. His English is perfect so we knew exactly what we were getting. They have 6 to 7 differant tacos and it changes thru the day. I loved that it was very old school Mexican taco stand. The women are warming the tortillas on the grill right in front of you and the clay pots have all the differant fillings for you to see. We tried one of each. They even had huitlacoche which is a corn fungus and very much a delicacy. Not something you would expect to find on a 15 peso taco. All the tacos have rice in addition to the generous fillings. when we were leaving I noticed they had run out of some things and replaced it with differant ones so we ordered another plate of 6 to go. One new filling had green beans in a peanut sauce. looking forward to leftovers today. They also had 4 desserts. chocolate cake, carrot cake, coconut cake, cheesecake. We were to full. Next time.

Hey you reading this review...Go here. These tacos are goood. Enrique, Adriana, and Nidia couldn't be more kind, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere here is of a friendly neighborhood meeting point. Friends and family coming in and out and an overall sense of good vibes. These tacos are cheap, traditional, and tasty too, knocking down 3 vegan myths all at once. Triple Bam! The vegan taco place to be in Puebla and that is what I'm talking about.

Owner was so nice and everything tasted great. Affordable and quick! Would not recommend walking here from centro/zocalo, as I found some of the surrounding streets very desolate, and walking alone did not feel so comfortable.

I feel so lucky to have found this cute little restaurant in the first day of my trip. The owner was incredibly kind and generous. They took the time to explain each taco filling in English, stayed open a little after 7 (because customers were still coming in), and after the epic meal (truly delicious vegan tacos), he hand-wrote me a list of other vegan restaurants he loved in the city. Beyond incredible service, and I hope to go back before my trip is over!

This place is awesome, the food is cheap and there are so many different tacos to choose from that it’s even a bit overwhelming.
Read moreMy favorite one was something “adobo” (in a red spicy sauce)but I’m not sure if they’ll always have it. I recommend just buying all the ones that look good and trying for yourself as they’re only about 13 pesos each.
It’s nothing fancy, but it’s everything I hoped a typical Mexican taco place would be :)
