Most interesting vegan options in the marina - Edit
Vegan "vish" and chips. Cool idea to add the nori seaweed to the tofu to get an oceany taste. A LOT of chips and not bad ones at that. Most interesting vegan food in marina market.
First up - it was great to have some vish and chips. Portions were very generous and price wasn’t bad. Food was piping hot. The vish was a decent slab of yummy seaweed coated battered tofu with a nice rich taste. Chips unfortunately, whilst piping hot, were (I think) frozen and not freshly cut, meaning they were a bit dry. I left half of them. Service was pleasant enough but I was asked 3 times if I wanted a drink despite saying no each time. Felt like the upsell was more important than listening to me. All in all well worth a taste but I prefer “proper” chips. Others may love them.
I had the fish and chips (14,30€). It was good! It doesn't actually taste like fish, you can tell it's tofu and miso. But the outward appearance really looks like a classic fish and chips, and the crispy texture of the exterior is quite nice. It's so difficult to find vegan fish and chips option that I'm quite happy with this even if it's not perfect.
