Really nice place to have breakfast in Athens

I got the greek omelette, it was really good, especially the vegan feta. The lemonade was too sugary for my taste. Super friendly staff.

A lovely spot with traditional food and a friendly owner who will treat you like a local. I went twice and was remembered and each time I felt welcome. The food is also excellent!

SUCH TASTY FOOD. So incredibly affordable, could not believe how inexpensive it was. We got caught here in the rain, and it was the best way to spend a couple hours. Eating delicious food, a few drinks, and met some amazing Vegans. Staff was so friendly.

Pros: Tasty food, Affordable , Friendly

Delicious breakfast

I was looking for vegan breakfast food and I was so happy to find a fully vegan breakfast restaurant.
A big breakfast makes me feel full for the majority of the day so I love when I can find a place to do that.

I ordered the no-meat pie, the house made lemonade, the Greek no-omelette, and a pressed apple juice.

I had the pie and the lemonade first. The lemonade reminds me of when I was a kid and we had a lemon tree in the backyard where I made lemonade at home. It's tart and sweetened just enough to not be sour, but not super sugary like store bought lemonade. It was perfect!
The no-meat pie was really tasty and light. It has a lot of dough around the vegan "meat". It's flaky and tasty. I definitely would eat that again.
Next was the no-omelette and the pressed juice. The pressed juice I got was an apple, cinnamon, and ginger flavor. It was so yummy. Like the same flavor as cinnamon applesauce, but a drink. I would definitely get that again.
The no-omelette was decent, but I wouldn't get it again. I like the flavor of whatever the "egg" is made of, but it made my mouth pretty dry. I like olives, but I don't love olives. And I hate mushrooms. I didn't realize it came with mushrooms and that is my own fault for not asking more questions. Mushrooms make me lose my appetite so quickly that when I finished the no-omelette it made me feel a little sick. I don't think that is normal, but I have some physiological thing against mushrooms and I wish I didn't. Anyway I think if you like mushrooms and olives you will absolutely love this vegan omelette. That is just something I wouldn't get again. I will definitely get more of the pies.

I still think this place is worth checking out. The food is fresh and good and made right here. There is construction currently on the street and so it makes sitting outside full of beeps and scrapes, but it's totally fine if you don't mind city noise.

Anyway check this place out for breakfast! It's good. The person working here is super friendly and gave me a lollipop when I left. He is so nice!!

Yummy and varied

This is a small vegan restaurant run by a very friendly owner. The food is freshly made, delicious, and reasonably priced. Besides, Early Bites offers a varied menu. I have tried two salads, an omelette, and three different pastries—everything was luscious. I wish I had discovered this place earlier during my stay. I will definitely return to Early Bites on my next trip to Athens. I highly recommend it!

Pros: Delicious and varied food, Very friendly owner/manager, Very good service, good location

Wonderful service and great food

The owner and/or manager of this place is very kind and went out of his way on a service level. I would absolutely recommend this place for a great breakfast, lunch, or snack. We've especially enjoyed the omelettes and coffee (lattes).

Amazing

A small place in a really quiet corner, we ate outside under the shadows of the trees. The owner is really nice and the Greek salad with feta is soo god.

Sadly, I Won’t Be Coming Back

I had previously loved Early Bites Vegan Athens for its cosy atmosphere, tasty vegan brunch options, and the warm, attentive presence of the owner, Nikos. Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing. The welcoming vibe I once appreciated was missing — the owner seemed distant and stressed, despite having assistance. The service felt impersonal, and the food didn’t live up to my expectations this time. It's disheartening to see such a shift. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

Super friendly and attentive. The food tastes excellent, and the portions are large enough and easy to share. There is outdoor seating available. The display case also offers sweet pastries.

Great spot for a snack in between

Had a pie there and felt very, very satisfied. ☺️

At first the visitors in front of the place didn't give me the impression that it is a purely vegan place. But what a misconception!

It felt very chilled and in the best possible way unpretentious.
The service was absolutely nice.
Thank you!

Amazing vegan Gyros! 🤩

This little spot is simply amazing.

Lo.ited seated options, but a father and son operate this small gem.

The food is delicious and affordable. There's also plenty of Greek things to try out.

Many locals stopped by while we were eating, which is always a good sign.

If you're anywhere near, do yourself a favor and eat here.

Highly recommended 👌

Great service, lovely food, affordable. We ate a lot of great vegan food in Athens but this was our favourite. It offered tasty versions of Greek dishes and lovely pastries. The proprietor was lovely. We returned several times. It's on a quiet street with pavement seating and offers a great place to find a bit of relative peace in the busy city. Completely unpretentious.

Nice food friendly owner

We had Nomlette what was delicious and a Seitan Gyros that was fresh and tasty too. Tiny little place with few seats outside in a pavilion, sadly a group of greek men used it for smoking all the time so not possible to eat there

Pros: Nomlette greek style, Seitan Gyros, Fresh orange juice

Cons: Smokers took over the seats in the pavilion

Solid (3.5)

Had two different slices and they were fine, but nothing special. Needed to be warmer and have a bit more taste for me. Prices were fine and some outdoor seating.
