Banh Yum - Edit
We needed a quick easy lunch when exploring Brighton and this was just the spot. We ordered there SPICY MISO AUBERGINE & KIMCHI and MIXED VEGAN & KIMCHI Banh Mi. Massive, filling and a bit messy to eat. Also ordered the vegan Vietnamese coffee, very sweet but yummy. I wish they had a bigger shop with better seating in as it was a bit annoying having to sit close to a busy road in the north lanes.

Amazing bread - Edit
3.5 ⭐️
Read moreMy first experiencing has been a bit overwhelming. I had the mixed vegan which is a bit of all the vegan options in one baguette. Next time (and there definitely will be) I will go with a single options. It all tasted very fresh though and loved all the other accoutrements.

Insane Bahn Mi - Edit
The vegan options here are amazing. Tofu, squash and miso aubergine. They have a bahn mi that combines all three with kimchi. It was HUGE and packed with super fresh herbs, veg and generous well flavoured fillings. Deserves a 5* !!

The best lunch spot in Brighton - Edit
Sadly not a 100% vegan shop but the vegan options are amazing. I think half the menu is vegan. Also very reasonably priced and huge sandwiches.

Best Banh Mi in town - Edit
There are several vegan options which are all super tasty and filling. On Friday’s they serve ‘Baby Bao’s’ bao buns and do a hoisin tofu filling with delicious sauces and salad (see photo). They also do a yummy vegan iced Vietnamese coffee.

Would give 5 - Edit
There are 5 vegan banh mi options here, including a vegan special which gives you the chance to try pretty much all the vegan fillings across the menu: edamame pate, miso aubergine, kimchi, tofu, squash, plus the usual salad , herbs and a spicy mayo. This is the most expensive choice but great value as it is absolutely huge. Delicious and fresh tasting. Would go back to try the other options. There’s also a vegan noodle dish and vegan Vietnamese coffee. Good for take away as there’s Limited seating (a few bars stools inside and a couple of outside tables)
