don't come here - Edit
allergies, I went in and ordered my food with no one besides a two top table in the restaurant and ordered two items, a vegan potato bowl and a regular omelette. I was clear with my allergies. I waited 45 minutes for the food to be ready for my vegan bowl to come out with scrambled eggs on it. The woman at the counter was very rude and was very short with me when I inquired about how long it was going to take. I asked her to refund me and cancel the order because I was going to be late for work and couldn't wait another 20 minutes for my meal. I am now left with no breakfast and late to work. Disappointment is an understatement. Not one staff remember apologized for the inconvenience. all the pastries are dry as hell too.

Ok pastries - Edit
Like a previous review I find very dry. I would not order a full cake, but the fruity pebble donut is pretty good. The staff also are not very communicative or nice when asking questions.. it is cool though to have options like this in Fall River, and if you are gluten free you will really like this place

We've had an issue every time - Edit
We've given Duke's a shot a few times, as I'm vegan and my partner is GF and dairy-free. Each time we've had problems with the food, either due to preparation (Beyond Burger served still-frozen in the bun) or the food itself (dense, greasy, bitter pizza soaking in a puddle of its own oil).
Read moreThe pastries are all right, though double and triple check the signage re: ingredients. My partner wound up picking something that turned out to have dairy in it, and they made her toss it out and buy something new when she mentioned it.
I would much more highly recommend Sweet Rose in town, which has a wider variety of both Vg and GF stuff, and much more friendly/helpful/accommodating staff.
Pros: a few yummy sweet treats , some good non-vegan options for mixed groups
Cons: Repeated issues with food prep, Not great about addressing issues/probelms, vegan meal options are not very good

First time going - Edit
Heard a lot about this place and took me forever to find it. Got there later in the day at 3pm. They had one small case of Vegan GF bakery items, picked over. I got a mint chocolate chip muffin. Cost $5.00 for 1 muffin. Got it home and it was very dry on the outside. The mint flavor burned the back of my throat and I love mint chocolate chip anything. The middle of the muffin was wicked wet and gooey, way undercooked. Had to chuck it out. Really gross. I asked them what vegan food options they had and they have vegan sausage. I asked about vegan cheese and they said no so I don't think the description on here about vegan Mac n cheese is accurate. The staff was very nice and friendly and it's a cute venue. Overall though, after this first experience I'd not bother going there again being vegan.
