Great veggie sandwich - Edit
Dedicated vegetarian and vegan selections on menu. Quite a few with fake meat though, personally not my thing. Small inside and a bit diner/bar with high tables and stools rather than relaxing cafe vibe, or outdoors but on busy road. But fantastic (and huge) sandwich - aubergine, gorgonzola, walnuts, rocket, ? radicchio cream. Open really late some nights.

“Carne” y “queso” vegano - Edit
No hay muchas opciones pero probé uno y estaba exquisito. Si volvería porque es de los pocos lugares que he encontrado con sucedáneo de carne y de queso.

An ok snack before/after Vatican museums - Edit
Located a few steps away from the entrance to the Vatican museum (and the St Peter's Square), this is a convenient option to get a snack on your Vatican tour day.
Read more3 vegan pannini available. All not bad in taste, but sadly they arrived at our table cold. Also, the amount of food is not enough to fill a hungry stomach after hours of walking through the fresco-filled rooms of the museums.
For a 10€ sandwich, I would have expected not to be hungry anymore after eating it and this was sadly not the case. But then, everything near the main sights is crazily overpriced so maybe it's just me expecting too much.
Pros: Vegan choices, Vegan salami
Cons: Rather small servings for the price, Cold food

Great sandwich - Edit
First bit of food I had in Rome amd it was perfect. They use meat and cheese alternatives in a lot of the vegan options which I’m not the biggest fan of in general but they were actually okay here!

Use Your Loaf - Edit
Forget the Sistine Chapel (very overrated), come and marvel at the fine, bread-based works of art being created here. While not the cheapest sandwiches in the world, they aren’t exorbitant given the amount of wondrous filling they ram into each one. All three of the vegan options are gloriously tasty, so you can’t really go wrong with which ever one you choose. Or, like me, just get all of them and prepare for enlightenment.

Tasty sandwiches in Prati - Edit
Few vegan options, but tasty and a nice portion size, very filling. Two types of bread to choose from. Just a few steps from the Vatican Museum, to take away on the go or to eat in. Also serves soft drinks and different beers.

5 stars!!! - go here!! - Edit
best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! Right after walking around the Vatican and almost passing out in 93 degree heat, my friends and i were so hungry. Such good options here they have a vegan salami that tastes incredible. Their spritz drinks are also delicious and affordable. I’ve had a lot of amazing sandwiches in Italy but this was by far the best! you must try!

Amazing sandwiches near the Vatican - Edit
We stopped by here for a quick bite before going on a Vatican tour and loved our sandwich! It was the "industria" I believe, which came with vegan salami and cheese along with this spicy olive paste. Delicious, and the bread was also very very good.
Read moreWe also got a salad with vegan cheese added which was fine but nothing special - just lettuce with tomatoes, cheese, and some fresh olive oil and balsamic. The wait staff also gave us some extra bread with the salad which was nice (and also delicious). Definitely recommend!
Pros: Very reasonably priced

Near the Vatican, this was a great spot after a long day of sightseeing! 3 vegan options, with vegan cheese and mock meat. Veggie hubby was also very satisfied with the veggie options too. I had the vegan industria option on brown bread and it was delicious!!

Approvato a 200gradi

Bono. - Edit

Great panini - Edit
It was so nice to have some fake meat and cheese on this trip. After spending almost a month in Europe, I was really missing this (even though it usually isn’t a regular part of my diet). Quality was good and so was service! I had the panini metronia. Great spot for visiting the Vatican

We tried one of the three vegan options, and the sandwich really had it all! Some sun dried tomato spread, tapenade, vegan cheese and salami as well as artichokes and ruccola. So yummy! And one is big enough to share for a smaller lunch.
