Come with an empty stomach!! - Edit
Came here for lunch on Friday with some non vegan friends. We all loved it. We had the wrap and zinger burgers. Was all really good. Only thing I’d say was that the burger patty was a bit thin. Beware if you can’t handle spicy as it’s hot! The curry wurst topped fries were amazing. Only downside is that the woman who served us was miserable and made us feel a bit uncomfortable considering we’re such a friendly group.

one of my favourites! - Edit
lovely cosy place. the staff are really lovely and so accommodating. i tend to get a couple of sides instead of a proper main because in my opinion some of the sides are better than the mains! my favourite item on the menu are the wings. me and my partner have had the burgers before and have noticed that they tend to fall apart very easy, which sometimes makes them really messy and hard to eat. the hotdogs are amazing though! great choice of desserts and drinks too(: unfortunately the whole menu isn’t vegan so watch out for that!

Nice, but wasn’t swept off my feet - Edit
We’ve been here before a few years ago so was really looking forward to coming back, but if we’re honest it felt exactly the same, and if anything slightly outdated. The burgers kept falling apart and weren’t actually that nice. Some are seitan patty’s but were so filled with toppings we didn’t want so went for the soya mince patties, which are nowhere near as nice as beyond meat or anything like that. Tasted more like a bean patty. We also were shocked to find out they’re not fully vegan, when a place like this totally could be!
Read moreHowever, Huge portions, which is something to definitely be grateful for and actually meant we couldn’t finish our food! We LOVED the garlic mushrooms, but wouldn’t order the seitan dippers again to start. Way too heavy. Other food coming out looked good so it is worth a try.
We were really impressed with the social distancing and felt really safe and away from others. Some restaurants really shove you together and pretend it’s 1m. Staff were somewhat friendly, but again not wowed by the service.
Pros: Good social distancing , Delicious chips , Wide range menu
Cons: Soya mince patties , Felt dated

Love it here! - Edit
Have visited twice and left happy on both occasions!
Read moreThe Seitan salt and pepper was amazing! The Doner kebab was a little bland but with more flavouring would have lived up to everything else! A good set of options and something for every vegan! Good service and a lovely place and atmosphere. You can see into the kitchen which is always a plus for me!
Pros: Good vegan options , Good meat substitute

Lovely food and good prices - Edit
We had a really nice meal here. We did visit last year and the food wasn't great but I'm glad we gave it another go. The food this time had much more flavour and was delicious. We had the mac'n'cheese, corn ribs, breaded mushrooms and salt n pepper fries. Everything was really good. Would highly recommend. Only disappointment was that they serve dairy products, which was a sad surprise. Please go vegan.

Visited DTH late afternoon on a weekday. There were a few people in but loads of tables free.
Read moreI ordered the buffalo cauliflower. McLovin burger with salt & pepper fries and the Oreo cookie dough sundae (with a piece of cake to take home!)
All in all the food was good but definitely not the best vegan junk food I’ve ever had. The cauliflower was nice and the portion was huge! Feel it could do with being battered though to make it crispier. The burger was okay but a bit mushy and there was quite an overpowering taste of chick pea flour (I think) which I’m not the biggest fan of. The chips were good and it’s nice to go somewhere where they’re included (although I paid £1 extra to upgrade them.)The stand out thing was the ice cream sundae which had cookie dough in it which was delicious!
The service was good and the food quick.

My favourite restaurant- mostly vegan! - Edit
This place is amazing, sells the best vegan junk food which vegans , veggies and meat eaters can all enjoy. Atmosphere is great and price is reasonable considering how large the portions are. Would give it 5 starts but it's not fully vegan, that being said the menu becomes more and more vegan every time it updates. Would definitely recommend

The usual vegan junk food, done well - Edit
If you're visiting Liverpool soon and fancy eating here in the evening, I'd book ahead if I were you. Doesn't get too busy around midday and does some good sarnies for brekky/dinner. Once I had a job near St Nick's church and we went here on our lunchbreak and came back in time.

Super busy but very good food - Edit
They must be doing something right because this place is in high demand when many of the neighboring establishments aren't that busy. The food was really nice, it's advertised as being super junk-foody but it's high quality with really nice sauces and salads on the burgers. There are also some options on the back of the menu that aren't as greasy like the jambalaya.
Read moreThe only down side was just how busy it was, the staff seemed run off their feet so it was hard to get anyone's attention for things like drinks, desserts, sauces etc. If you're coming on Fri or Sat definitely book a table online in advance.
Pros: fun cocktails, good menu diversity, fast service
Cons: Can get very busy

Holy Delicious Vegan Junk - Edit
This place was really awesome. First, the decor and lighting was very fun and inviting. The place is in a basement and very warm and nice. It was clean. The server was very attentive and helpful. The entire menu is Vegan with an option for Vegetarian on some items. There was only one thing on the menu that wasn’t Vegan by default. This is interesting because it’s usually the opposite! Let’s talk about the food quality. Whooo! It was so much food and I ate it all. I got the Taj Mahal and the flavors of that burger were so intense and delicious. I upgraded my chips to the poutine and was not disappointment. The mushrooms on the poutine were super fresh and cooked perfectly. The Vegan brioche bun.... yes please. We also got the Mac Daddy burger with an upgrade to the 4/20 fries. I tried both of those and they were great too! It’s a great place for large portions of Vegan pub food. We went after having a few pints and it was just perfect. If you’re looking to indulge in some Vegan comfort food then this is the place.

We had the Sunday Roast, it was good but I think it could of been a bit better. We also had a sundae which was nice. The staff are nice and its a quite comfortable setting. I think we would rather come back for the full menu during the week and Saturdays. We have eaten off the full menu before and there are lots more options and I think the food is maybe more practised on that menu but I could be wrong.

Lovely environment, good dirty food - Edit
Been meaning to try this place for a while now - lots of Instagram posts caught my eye. The first thing I was pleasantly surprised about was the restaurant itself, the decor, the music, the layout, lightening and the bar - all really nice, perfect for me. Could have spent longer in here with the IPA on tap. We ordered the Easy Peasy, Always Sunny and The Don burgers / pitas with fries (two upgrades to salt and pepper fries). Also tried the Satan Wings. See my uploaded photos for the food and the menu.
Read moreThe upgraded fries were fantastic. Filthy. The Satan Wings were pretty good, the sauce was fantastic (very sweet), a nice crunch, although the middle wasn’t perfect - still nice. I’ve got to say I was slightly disappointed with the three burgers. They were all nice, but I was expecting something amazing like they serve at Frost burgers, which is a short walk away. So the burgers aren’t as good as Frost burgers but the interior is a million times better.
4.5 would be the ideal mark, but because that’s not an option I’ll go with 4. Just the taste of the burgers were ever so slightly disappointing and the possibility of cross-contamination. The halloumi maybe cooked on the same grill as the vegan foods.
Pros: Great interior, Lots of options, Nice looking bar
Cons: Burgers were slightly disappointing , Possibility of cross contamination with cheese, £12.5 for a burger and upgraded fries ain’t cheap

Buffalo sabres - Edit
Describing itself as a veggie junk food house, the hearty food served up quick here did not disappoint. On duke street beside a strip joint, down the hatch is literally in the basement beside the aforementioned "gentlemen's club". With the inserts from what looks to be me and my high school chums CD collections on the walls, dth offers a range of seitan, jackfruit and tofu burgers, nuggets and hotdogs. The spicy buffallo nugs were one of the best things I have ever eaten. They were that good. Also upgrade your chips to the local fav "salt and pepper" chips. You'll thank me later.
Read moreOnly gripe is it is located down steep and worn stone steps, getting a pram up and down wasn't fun, especially on a full tummy. But otherwise I don't have any complaints, I don't think there is any filler on that menu. This is how you do a burger, other places please take notes, and the jackfruit nugs are perfection. If you like fried food you will love it.
Pros: Indie, Delicious, Spicy
Cons: Stairs - not most accessible

I visited with my two non vegan friends and we all loved it! We shared the jackfruit nuggets and cauliflower florets for a starter. I then had the Captain Jack seitan burger. Some of the tastiest food I’ve had.
