Wow is sadly no longer accurate

Update July 2026. Sadly, this restaurant appears to be on a downward spiral. Food that you get is still good but ordering is difficult since a large amount of the menu is not available. Instead of actually updating the physical menu you need to ask the server about each item until you find the ones they can make. They couldn’t make Chat Pata potatoes or Bagara Banhen dosa. This has happened the last 2 times we have gone to the restaurant. This time there was another twist when the server argued that the “vegan option” Bombay Jini dosa contained cheese. I told them I have ordered that dosa previously and they made it vegan. But even after I ordered, the cook came out of the kitchen to argue with me that the dish was “supposed to” contain cheese. In addition to the menu disappointment the restaurant itself is looking unkempt with holes in the chair upholstery and large pieces of trim missing under the banquets. The restaurant used to typically have a lot of customers but we were the only ones this time. I really hope they get on top of this and at a minimum have new menus printed and also give the restaurant a spruce up.

Original review:
My experience with vegan Indian food was limited to the few accidentally vegan items on a menu such as aloo gobi and samosas. Dosa Guru is not that. Their menu has so many vegan and vegan option items, it’s crazy. Plus, the food for the most part was excellent! For starters I highly recommend the Chat Pata twisted potatoes. Spiralized potatoes served on skewers. Soft yet crispy. We also had the Pani Puri which were both tasty and fun. The rasa vada was interesting and the spiciest of the items. For mains we had a couple of the dosas (the Bagara Baingan dosa was a standout) and a podi onion uthappam. For drinks we had vegan shakes. The vegan chikoo shake alone is worth the trip to this restaurant. We barely made a dent in the huge menu and look forward to visiting again!

Absolutely amazing

The vegan options, flavors, portions and even the service was 10/10. We had the Dosa Tikka and the szechaun noodles (swapping out paneer for tofu)
