Fresh and tasty vegan greek food

Really good vegan options - clearly labelled on the menu and staff were really informed about how to make some dishes vegan (they put the feta on the side for my partner so we could share the Greek salad). Everything was fresh and really tasty. It was all amazing and I’d recommend every dish but the highlights were the greek salad and fennel pie.

Pros: Lots of options, Friendly and informed staff, Fresh and quality food

Delicious way to try Greek food

There are 8ish vegan options on the menu (including breads and french fry’s) so there is not a massive selection, but the food quality is great. The waitress suggested we order 5 dishes to share and I would say for a big lunch/dinner 5 plates is enough. The menu is clearly labeled and when an item can be made vegan on request, this is listed too.

Hummus was delicious, as was the olive oil, bread and Dolmadakia- the real stand out dishes for us, where the Marathopita greek pie the Maniatiki potato salad.

Pros: Vegan versions of Greek dishes, Very attentive staff , Lovely setting with plenty of outdoor seating

Cons: Not a huge selection of dishes

Upscale venue

This is a classy yet relaxed restaurant. Although, it is by no means vegan, they have a number of clearly marked vegan options on the menu, mostly revolving Greek specialties. They suggested that we order top style and share, which we did. We had a salad, chickpeas, a vegetable dish, bread, and they gave us complementary olives. All the food was well prepared and utterly delicious.

I give this place a high rating not only because the food is good, but also because it is a cut above most of the other restaurants in the area. Many of the vegan friendly restaurants listed on HappyCow in this neighborhood, turned out to be unsatisfactory when we visited, so we didn’t even bother to eat there, and those that were good enough to eat at tending to be fine, but mostly of the fast food or street food sort. Doppios stood out in the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
