Regular customer

There’s tons of options and they aren’t stingy. Food is cold sometimes but if you get the steamed rice combo and keep the plate shut for a few minutes everything warms up. Tons of bang for your buck

Many options-cheap, fast & yummy

Came here for the first time and tried the “combination” of ready made food in the display. You get a base of rice or noodles plus a choice of 2 other items.
We got noodles, green beans-carrots, & lemongrass fried tofu. Everything was tasty. I loved that the green beans were blanched, so they still had their vibrant colour and great crunch. Not soggy at all.
The lemongrass tofu had a yummy sauce and great flavour. The noodles were tasty as well - was a mix of noodles, cabbage, black fungus, carrots, greens.

The amount given was huge and it came to $9. Enough for the both of us to share since we weren’t super hungry.
We really enjoyed everything we had and will definitely be back

soy makers

selling sweetened and unsweetened soy milk, and fresh tofu. there is also a hot bar with pre made soy and gluten dishes available as single items or on a combo plate with rice. a lot of traffic is to take food away, but there are indoor seats. it seems to be quite a spot for locals to come and chat, whether they are dining or not. serves white rice only.

a substantial pho menu, with photos of each soup over the counter on the wall.

the food items ive tried are not overly sweet, but could be just a little too salty. the hot dishes dont seem to be too oily either, again, just a bit salty.

located in a strip mall near Story Market at the corner of McLaughlin and Story, getting in and out is a hassle, and parking is tight.

Liu the owner is super cool, very friendly and remembers names and faces amazingly! We might become regulars because my BF loves the curry pho.

Pros: home made soy milk, inexpensive

Cons: no brown rice , tough parking, ingress/egress to parking, a bit too salty
